I glimpsed a documentary in passing the other day, and there was a polar bear attempting to kill a walrus (it was starving and desperate). Both are very large, powerful and potentially lethal animals, that live in a cold climate. So, I thought, I wonder who would win in a fight between the two? Which lead me here. Both also share the Ice-typing incase anyone would like an actual relation between the two.

1. Beartic, because bears are awesome

2. Walrein for better bulk and speed, until Beartic's DW ability is activated under the rain (w/ access to Superpower)

3. Tie, Cubchoo and Spheal are really creative names that really suit their appearance

5. Gotta go with Beartic on this one for better movepool and DW ability (if only it gained a water typing and Waterfall)

1. Walrein. Beartic's crotch hair is off putting.
2. Actual battle, then probably Beartic with a Hammer Arm.
3. Walrein. Spheal and Sealeo are really cute.
4. I like them both, but prefer Walrein.
5. Definitely Walrein. Looks cooler, much more menacing. and it's just the best.

1. Walrein. It looks epic and strong. Plus beartic's lower body...Well, it followed in Reshiram's and Blaziken's footsteps.

Neither. Walrein looks derp and Beartic's beard, just what the...

Neither. Cubchoo and Walrein's pre-evos are ugly, imo.

1. Which design do you like better? Beartic. Crotch fur is best fur.

2. Who would win a fight between the two? Not sure. Beartic could sub punch Walrein to death, I suppose.

3. Who has the better prevolution(s)? Tie. Cubchoo and Spheal are both so adorable!

4. Any other reasons why you like/dislike both of them/either one? Don't like Walrein's design.

5. Overall which is your winner? Beartic!

I think Beartic has a slightly better design. Something about Walrein makes it... I dunno really. Kind of awkward. It doesn't look weak by any means, but it just doesn't look as capable of smashing your face in as Beartic. Plus Beartic has better facial hair.

Beartic would win with fighting type moves and higher attack.

I like Spheal and Sealeo a bit more than Cubchoo. I think Cubchoo's little snot gimmick is just strange. It is cute otherwise, though.

The crotch fur doesn't really bother me much. It almost looks like its tail fur just wraps around.

Overall, I prefer Beartic.

Yeah!!! Hail stall, I like Walrein's uses a bit more than Beartic's.

I voted both really because as much as they are both ice types they have very different roles in battle. Walrein's style is more of a defensive wall stalling the opponent and to slowly chip them away. While Beartic's style is more of a physical brute just generally all out attacking the foe with big hits.

If they were against each other in a battle it's pretty much even between them because they are generally both as strong as each other in their respective roles. If I was to choose one of them though for a team it would probably be Walrein for it's Water typing as well as Ice and it's ability to build momentum in battle while taking a good few hits.
