Welp, UU is my favorite tier, decided to make a team of it, has been tested on shoddy battle and does pretty good, tearing though most everything, exept gyardos, i hate gyarados

One nasty plot lets me ohko A LOT, with a little prediction, i can decimate teams
-Energy Ball
ninetails has the privilege of having a grass type move thats not solar beam, and it covers the weaknesses very well
-Flamethrower
Good Stab, Good accuracy, good everything
-HP Ice
Hits those dam dragons that resist both energy ball and flamethrower

Threats
Ice/Water types
Fast water types, if they can get a hit in, i'm dead, if i get a hit in, their dead

-Stone Edge
Covers Weakness
-Blaze Kick
This last spot was debateable, but, in the end, this gets great covereage on types i don't already cover, and handles bulky steel/phychic types

Spr_4h_103.png

Exeggutor {Mask}
-EVS
138 HP/ 252 Def/ 120 Sp.Def
-Nature
Modest
-Abillity
Chlorophil
-Item
Expert Belt
-Moveset
-Explosion
There comes a time when you look at an opponent, and just say "oh fuck this" then you use explosion
-Psychic
Good stab, and with the expert belt, takes out most fighting types in one hit
-Energy ball
Read above, just replace fighing with water and rock and ground
-Wish
the point of this set is to stall a bit, let toxic spikes do their thing, maby force a switch in to one of his SEVEN weakness, then wish and gtfo

Other notes
Works insanly well with ninetails, if they switch to a fire type, i can switch into ninetails and get double stab from flash fire

Threats
Steel types, resist both Stab attacks and explosion, and can't poison them and stall

PHYSICAL TANK

also, WHO'S IDEA was it to make it so you can only take So long to do something, i allmost had a heart attack when it said i'd have to re-do it, thank god i didn't

Rhyperior: Ice Punch or Avalanche over Ice Fang. And no, under no circumstances is Rock Wrecker acceptable. One turn alone can cost you the whole game.

but..but i love rock wrecker
yea, i was going for flinch with ice fang, but i never move first

That's why Ice Punch and Avalanche are superior. Also, better accuracy.

Doesn't matter too much how much you like Rock Wrecker, it's the same as using Roar of Time on Dialga: attractive, but in the long run, a mistake.

*grumble* meeh, i know your just gonna pester me untill i change, or someone else will, so there, stone edge

If you were using Shoddy correctly, you should never have seen a Gyarados.

You should really run HP Ice on Ninetails instead of Dragon. Ice hits more things than Dragon for SE, while hitting all dragons in UU (Altaria) with 4XE. I would also say run Timid over Modest for the speed to hit things with your NP attacks, but that's just my preference.

On Exeggutor, the expert belt seems like waste when you only have 2 attacks that hit for SE damage with very limited coverage (Poison, Fighting, Ground, Rock, Water). Put on something like leftovers, that at least has some use when not facing something that will switch out of you.

I also think curse has no place on a competative team, unless you want to go gimmicky and combine with mean look, even with rest it is very risky. You could try toxic, in case the other team has a spinner to get rid of your spikes.

i realize that, but, after 4 battles on the UU ladder, i realized no one was on the UU ladder, because i found the same guy 4 times

Yea, i probbably should
hmm, what does timid do again?

That's his point
I swap him in when i need to
1. Cover a weakness
2.Explode on a "problem Pokemon"
3. Heal

no, curse stays, it forces a switch in, or forces a KO, the things i use it on are mainly Steel types and walls, Toxic won't work on that

Timid raises Speed and lowers attack.

My point on Curse was that you are losing half of your HP to force something to switch. This is especially a problem where your only way of healing is to Rest, without a Chesto Berry to take away those 2 turns of sleep or Sleep Talk so you can do something with it. It just seems to me like you really can only use this set to it's full extent if your opponent has only one Pokemon left, otherwise they just switch and you wasted half your health and a turn.

Yeah, Curse'll get you killed more often than not. If you want to pHaze, use a standard move like Whirlwind, Roar, Yawn, etc.

Ninetales: Try Hidden Power (Ice). It still hits the Dragons for super effective damage; even better if it's Flying or Ground. You can also go for Hypnosis to shut down counters before you set up.

Well i want something that'll get me a good, steady damage with him
-_- i might be better off if i just replaced him with a Clefable

toxic spikes are bad in UU, with the promenence of grounded poison types like the most common pokemon in the tier, venasaur. Because you were testing it on the OU ladder, you didnt notice, but it doesnt work well in UU. You are better off using a spikes lead or something with SR

hmm, i could replace it with taunt, i'm pretty sure nidoking learns taunt
then, with the staus out of the way, i could give Spiritomb Will-o-wisp or hypnosis instead of curse

k, after some testing, i'm going back to HP dragon on ninetails, it gives me a nuetral attack on other fire types, and HP ice didn't cover anything energy ball didn't other than dragon and flying.
also, stone edge has shit for accuracy, i've missed...everything, so i'm going with rock blast, helps against subs, and i'm only gonna use it against flying or levitatrs anyway

i'm thinking of switching out one of Executor's attacks out with leech seed or toxic
what do you think?

rock blast only has 80% accuracy, same as stone edge. If you want better accuracy, try rock slide, which has 90 % accuracy, but only 75 base power
