Looking for an UT "Embedded Tower" Kyogre for my Soul Silver game.

I am not certain that will work. It is specifically stated that a Kyogre and a Groudon must be caught at the Embedded Tower and are to be shown to Professor Oak, who will then award the player with the Jade Orb to awaken Rayquaza (which is what I'm going after). Sorry, I should have mentioned that I'm looking for a Kyogre from Heart Gold.

Kyogre can only be obtained in Heart Gold. In Soul Silver you can only catch Groudon.

Yeah, both have to come from Heart Gold and Soul Silver. And you can only get both by trading with someone who has the other game.

Have you found one yet? If you haven't maybe you should try using or making a trade shop in the Shop Subcenter. That is how I got an Embedded Tower Kyogre in Soul Silver but it was in a different set of forums.

I shouldn't have to do anything more than simply ask if people are willing to trade. So far, no one has, which means no one is. That's just the nature of the beast.

your best bet would be to change the title of your thread and edit your original post to state clearly what you want as it is misleading.
Based on what it says right now, i'd assume you're looking for any old Kyogre (which i have) and upon hovering my mouse over the title, i see no indication stating otherwise, that is, until i click on the thread and read further down.

So my advice to attract someone who has specifically what you're looking for is to say you're looking for an Embedded Tower Kyogre.

I have a question pertaining to this. I have both HG and SS (HG is much farther along then my SS) so I can get the Kyogre. Are you looking just for the Kyogre in general or do you want to use it to get the Rayquaza? And if you use it to get the Rayquaza, am I able to use it to get my own Rayquaza?

Yes, I am looking to use it to get Rayquaza. Even if this trade is temporary. I could use the Kyogre to get the orb necessary to meet Rayquaza and then trade the Kyogre back. As to your second question, I don't see any reason why you couldn't use the Kyogre once it's traded back to you. The Kyogre would still list you as being its OT after all, and your game did record you catching the Kyogre in the first place.

I have done something similar with Platinum Soul Silver and White, where I traded an Event Celebi to Platnium, then back to a new game in Soul Silver, and then sent Celebi to White, which did activate the event as designed.

If you are still uncertain as to whether you will still be able to obtain Rayquaza yourself, I am willing to wait until you do before any trade is done.
 
Mmmm... that would be a long wait considering I've only got my second badge on SS. (Black got in the way :3) I'll just let you borrow it. If I can't get it, it's not a big deal since I can get it on my SS anyways.

Do I have to have beaten Red first to get the orb?

I'm currently training to be able to take him on, which shouldn't take too long I hope.

As for a trade, just do a trade and then trade back. I'd like to keep my Kyogre, but I don't mind letting you borrow it. :)
 
To get the orb from Mr. Pokemon, you must first obtain the national dex (which you have) and receive the Kanto starter from Prof. Oak, which you can only get after you've beaten Red. I hear you about the time it takes to train to take him on. His Pokemon are at a really high level.

Once you've obtained the orb and captured Kyogre, let me know so we can arrange to make the trade. Thanks.
