Wanted - Overseas Pokemon

Hey Guys - trying to unlock everything for my pokewalker and there's one route that only becomes available when you've received a pokemon from overseas. I'm open to anyone who wants to trade ANY legitimate (i.e. non-hacked) Lv5 Magikarp from a country other than Australia for something simple, like a weedle/rattatta/pidgey/etc.

The GTS is a mess of people requesting impossible trades, so can you lend a fella a hand?

PS...i have no idea how to identify my own friend code. Instructions would be handy?
 
To get the Beyond the Sea pokewalker route, you MUST trade with someone over the GTS. What I did is put an Onix in the GTS requesting any Sentret. Just do something like that and check back after a week or something.
To find your friend code, make sure you have connected to Wi-Fi in the basement of the Pokemon Center, then go to your Pal Pad (Key items). Select the option '(Player)'s Friend Code', and it will show your Friend Code.
 
i'd like to unlock this too, joe, so perhaps we could help each other out. (i'm usa.) :) i don't know much about this, so going on thunder's advice, we each need to put a pokemon up for trade at the global trading station.

i've been to the gts once before to see what it was, so i know that certain things are searchable. i have a -level 1- -male- -eevee- that i can put up. if being level 2+ would make him easier to search for, i can get a couple levels on him before offering him.

i'm at work right now but will be able to access wifi in about eight hours (5pm cdt). are you interested in trading? :)
 
Interested in Trading for sure. Apparently we absolutely have to use the GTS and can't rely on friend codes for this, so what do you want in exchange? Eevee is a pretty fancy pokemon to be giving away for this - are you sure you don't have a spare boring pokemon around to get rid of? Makes it less likely that someone else will try to nab it.
 
i was breeding eevees before i found out that i wanted a couple of egg moves, so i have extra. :) i also have some level 1 dratinis. there's also a level 12 nidoran♂ in there somewhere. you can take your pick, really. i'm not in this for big money, no whammy. :)

really, pick whichever might be easiest to find, because that gts only gives you three results at a time, which is bull.
 
I'll put up a Lv 7 pineco for one of those eevees then. I'll feel better giving you something reasonably difficult to find. Ill go upload it now. Cheers
 
Ah damn i cant search for an eevee because i havent seen one in the game yet. Just give us one of the nidoran then.

I will deposit pineco asking for any Nidoran now, and give us a message if you manage to do the trade yeah? cheers
 
slight problem with that. i can't search for something i haven't seen. ;) i'm playing SS and am about to catch gyarados, if that gives you some idea of which pokemon i can search for.

however, the 12 male nidoran up for a lvl <9 magikarp.

btw i can't message people on these forums.

Alright...just put up a male nidoran asking for any male nidoran and we can swap them. Ill be able to do that in 2 mins or so as well.

Also, must retrieve my pineco because he took a bit of work.

does the second person have to do the searching? if so let me know if you can't find this guy. i can try putting up something a little harder to find.
 
I never thought a magikarp could be too powerful but im only landing level 10s. Could you change it to any magikarp?
 
yeah you just upload it and ill do the searching. If you cnahnge it to ANY magikarp ill be able to do it in 2mins or so.
 
oh that's fine, i'll do that right away. your original post had mentioned a level 5, so i thought you had one already. :)

Meanwhile, Its impossible to search for this guy. Male nidoran between 10-20 in the USA right?
 
yes. should i put up something more difficult? i could do lvl1 dratini or a 21 nidoran♂ or 21 nidoran♀. shame on me, but i don't have a lot of spares around. :p too much breeding, not enough playing. lol.

btw messaging me on aim/whatever would speed up replies.
 
ok try the dratini. If that doesnt work, ill upload the magikarp asking for a lv1-10 dratini and leave it overnight. It might be easier for you to search Australia than me to search USA?
