In the universe, there are two major forces that keep the world in balance: Light and Darkness. Our world teeters precariously in the middle of the two, shifting to either end of the spectrum as easily as blinking ones eyes(provides one has the means to blink). To put this in better perspective, picture a seesaw with our world resting at the fulcrum. On one end is Lumière, the deity of light, and Acerbus, deity of darkness, keeping careful balance. Both deities are equal in power, giving us equal amounts of light and darkness in regular intervals. However, Acerbus wants more power, and has declared war on Lumière, in a bid to destroy her and take her power for himself, thus creating perpetual darkness. However, the Ancients do not allow any direct matters of conflict between the two, so they chose instead to choose individuals to represent their cause, and give them the means to fight and determine the fate of the world, and the universe.

My Characters:

Basch Zwingli:
Name: Basch Zwingli
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Appearance: Basch has short, messy strawberry-blonde hair, flat green eyes, he stands at 6 feet, and weighs approximately 225 pounds. Most of his weight is muscle, and his most distinguishing feature is the perpetual scowl he wears. He typically wears military style attire consisting of a green or blue jacket with black stripes on the sleeves, black cuffs, and white piping, brown pants, black boots with white piping, and a beret that matches his jacket. When his powers are active, he wears red plate mail and pants with gold gauntlets that connect to his armor at the shoulder, gold knee boots, and a red helmet with gold horns pointing up.
Personality: Basch is a hotheaded guy who prefers to jump headlong into a situation, not really thinking things through. He hates sitting still, as his mind requires constant stimulation, and his blood easily boils. His mouth gets him in trouble, as he often says the first thing to come to mind, which is almost always true, but may or may not be appropriate. His strong sense of justice compels him to always do the right thing, and he won't hesitate to help an ally in need. If you are an enemy, or you offend him or an ally, may the gods have mercy on you, because he won't.
Battle Paradigm: Basch fights with a zweihander and shield, wielding his sword in one hand most of the time, but using two hands for his stronger attacks, forgoing defense. He uses mostly light-based abilities and deft swordsmanship in combat.
Abilities: Ascension: Basch strikes the foe with an upward shield strike to break their defenses, follows up with two sword strikes, then knocks the foe straight upwards. Useful as a surprise attack, and a setup for further assault.
Bright Rage: Basch utters an incantation to the sky, then a small twinkle of light appears next to an enemy before exploding with a bright flash and knocking them to the ground. Used mainlyto blind a foe or interrupt their attack.
Shield Rush: Basch slings his shield on a tether of light at an opponent, then pulls himself forward to run the opponent through before knocking them away.
Shining Wave: Basch drags his sword along the ground, then yanks up, causing pillars of light to chase the enemy.
Judgment Blade: Basch utters an incantation to the sky, and giant blocks of ice shaped like swords fall from the sky on an opponent before a blue magic sword stabs out of the ground under them, shattering the ice and possibly stopping the foe cold.

Terra White:
Name: Terra White
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Appearance: Terra is a girl of medium height and build, approximately 5'5" and weighing about 120 pounds. She wears her black hair short, only to her ears, and her dark brown eyes are emotionless, unreadable, and hidden behind huge glasses that she wears for decoration. Her attire consists of a black shirt and tie, black skirt and tights, and black shoes. Outside of classes, she wears an all-black hooded cloak with the kanji for darkness (闇) that makes her appear to be a cultist of some sort. When her powers are active, the kanji lights up, and her eyes glow bright purple. Her glasses also vanish.

Personality: Little is known about Terra, other than her being 'goth', as she is mute, and can't talk under any circumstances. Due to this and being mercilessly bullied, she is a sociopath, caring nothing for the welfare of anyone else, or anything that doesn't directly affect her. If someone bothers her, she will nail them with a piercing stare and not blink for several minutes or until they get away from her. She hates being touched, and will react violently. She has trust issues with everyone, and won't make an effort unless she sees trustworthiness. Her sociopathic behavior and mutism cause communication issues, as she often knows the most on something, but can't and won't express it. She loves anything supernatural, and uses her imagination a lot. She also loves puzzles, and is great at solving them. Rather than rush into something, she will let the others go in while she analyzes the situation, then acts when she deems necessary. She hates fighting, and would rather be left alone, but she can be deadly if the situation demands it. She believes in a Void of nothingness, and that all existence started as nothingness, and will eventually return to nothingness.

Battle Paradigm: Terra gains a staff with a sharp end and a jewel on the other end. She psychokinetically controls the staff for close range combat, but employs shields and other defensive measures to block and counterattack, drawing foes to inevitable defeat. Normally, she is slow, and her offensive moves are slow, but after a successful block, she becomes lightning fast for her counterattack, and much stronger. She also uses dark energy, which comes from a 'void', a dimension of nothingness that is Terra believes in. The 'void' is a product of her imagination, and she uses it as a source for her dark energy.
Abilities: Low Block: Terra summons a green barrier to deflect weak projectiles. Low duration, short cooldown, fast casting time.
Mid Block: Terra psychokinetically spins her staff in front of herself to create a blue barrier of stuns and bounces enemies back.
Hurricane: Terra creates a whirlwind of darkness by psychokinetically spinning her staff around her at high speeds. Its range is short, but it protects her by sucking things in, flaying them with wind, then blowing them away.
Delta Attack: Terra creates a barrier in front of herself that blocks frontal strikes, then fires a beam from it. Enemies that hit the barrier are deflected into the beam's firing path. It's short ranged, but powerful.
Vacuum Wave: Terra fires a blast of vacuum energy at a foe. Slow to charge, low power, the projectile moves slow, but bounces off surfaces.
Other: Terra gains telepathy while her powers are active, but only during that time.

Name: Je Gonff
Age: 15
Gender: Male
Appearance: Je's jet black hair is a little wild, shooting off a little on both sides. He wears shortsleeves most of the time, and a crimson vest on top. His blue jeans are a little ripped on the knees from kneeling and sliding constantly. He is not very muscular, but is speedy and got wits within. His blue and gray sneakers have been worn out from the running he does, and he has drawn strange marks on the heels, that look like sharp wings and a block within. Very simple clothing choices.

Personality: Je is a joker. He, if the times were still the Middle Ages, would probably be a court jester. He can smile, even in the toughest situations, and comes up with very witty remarks. He is also the fastest runner in his school, with a common time on the 100 meter: 21.6 seconds. He dashes headlong into action, not thinking about the consequences, and then replies with jokes. He seems like your average kid, and acts like it too. In fact, he doesn't even remember learning how to use a dagger, or drawing strange marks on his shoes, or getting magical daggers that don't appear to human machinery. His life has been so odd, he decides to smooth it over with acting as your average class clown. He believes that you should hold on to your life, no matter how terrible it might seem.

Battle Paradigm: Knives and shoes. Or, should I say, knives and wings. His magical daggers have many battle abilities, and you can use them as normal daggers if you wish, and, if you stick the through the heels, instead of piercing his foot, it will make wings appear on the shoe, and he can take flight. He gains increased speed during this period, and can launch many types of attacks, but not using his daggers, because they stay in the heel, but his shoes can launch every ranged attack Je's daggers can.

Attacks: Close Combat: Similar to the Pokemon attack, Je comes in close to the foe and jabs them with his daggers 5 times per second. This, however, leaves him vulnerable to any upcoming attack from a foe. This attack cannot be performed from the air.
Flight of the Knives: He throws a dagger into the air and it becomes transparent, multiplying by 100 and flying towards the foe with incredible accuracy. This attack, by the air, acts in which the knife in the shoe glow, and in front of Je 100 knives for each magic dagger appear, letting him aim them towards the foe.
Dash: Je runs as fast as he can, and the symbols on his shoe start glowing, and Je speeds very fast, making it unable for him to stop on a dime, but can confuse the opponent and can be used for a quick retreat. This attack is useless from the air.
Tradition: Traditional Dagger Methods; Slice, Hidden Knife, Throw, etc.
Slice and Dice: Je's knives glow red and lengthen, becoming swords. Used to use traditional sword techniques: Slice in many ways, add something, (electrify, set on fire) etc.
Other: Je has photographic memory.

I made the basics: jokes, daggers, hair; by combining two characters from different series of books: Gonff from Redwall and Leo Valdez from Heroes of Olympus. Some others were by me. Just wanted to let you know.

Gender: Female
Appearance:

Brown Hair, Brown Eyes, medium hair. Wear: a long medium long dress, satin *picture provided later*

Active during Lumiere influence: Silver eyes, silver long hair, a silver sparkling tiara instead of mask. Wear: longer dress *picture provided later*

Active during Acerbus influence: Black eyes *almost hidden on the mask*, short black hair, mask hidden upper face, but shown her cheek and red lips. Wear: black sexy leather-material shirt and throuser, black booth *picture provided later*

Personality: An eccsentric smart girl. She is usually appear normal, often just talk in her own perspective, have really high moral, but often relly so much to other to keep her own idealism *in the other words, a critic who like to blame others*, optimistic in her own way, and really-really girly *or she thought so*.

But.. she have issues, split personalities, and eventhough she is a likely on Lumiere's side, she love Arcebus characteristic, make she forces herself to get both gems and join both sides on the war. In the realm where the war happened, she splits into 2 different individual, with different characteristics.

Luna Serra: Gracefull lady, often talk so much about right and wrong in more obsesive way than Normal Serra. She kept Serra's idealsm and fight to prove them right. Have a high moral and do everything 'right' to keep it, even that mean destroying the world.

Raven Serra: Quite and mysterious part of Serra, she seems not agaist Serra's idealsm but not fight for it too. She talk less than Lunna or Serra, but a better fighter. She is faster and use heavier weapon. She sometimes stop fighting on battle and avoid battle, even when her time not over yet, for mysterious reasons. *some of it related to cute flowers and cats, but I will put other reasons on the RP*. She seems other intention to fight, and keep saying it as what real Serra really wanted.

note:
Luna represents Serra's idealism, her superego as a Lumiere's obedient follower. She is twisted, and not a really kind natured person even though she usually shows herself as one. She blames Arcebus for starting a war and keep her emotinal judgement as reason to hurt all member of Arceus, irrationally.

Raven represents Serra's id, who is enjoy her alone time alot, keeping distance to others, and actually hate war, she is stimulate to fight most when Arcebus on the fence, and less when Arcebus almost win, in order to keep the balance. *I'm aware Arcebus is the on who started the war first. This why Raven's motive is hidden.*

Battle Paradigm:
Luna Serra:
Light Magic: Luna can forms many things using light, shawl to fly, light saber to attack in weapon battle stage. She only can create one thing using her magic at one time. Good at long range battle.

Raven Serra:
Double swords and Shadow's magic *something that Raven use to make her hidden on the dark and can suddently appear on the other side of the room... *. Good at close combat.

Attacks:
Luna Serra
Basic Equip: Creates shield and a long sword using her light magic.
Heaven's Wing: When she creates her shawl to use to fly.
Wing's Whip: while flying using her shawl, she can quickly whip her shawl to enemy, but makes her can't fly for seconds when she uses her shawl as weapon.
Luna's beam: A light beam, shoot as a lane from angle that she shot it. Its hurts everything within the lane. Take a short time to be made and recharged before she can use it again.

Advance attack (She can't use them at the begining):
Moonlight: Blasting her compacted 'light' Magic during battle to attack enemies. Very powerfull, but took a long time to be made and charged.
Aerial's Blash: Finishing move on Basic Equip, she dashes with the long sword and creates hundreds knives solidfied while dashing, to attack enemy.

Raven Serra
Basic Equip: Double double-edges swords, no shield.
Double Scourge: She attacks her enemy by slashs her swords alternately, from right and left.
Double Dash: runs fast to the enemy with the Double sword and try hurt them with the sword from right and left
Shadow's Zone: She is vanish on shadows and can transfered to other side of room, as long as the shodow is connected.

Advance attack:
Twisted's Zone: She trapped her enemy on a round compresed made Shadow then attack her opponent continously when she's on Shadow's Zone. The enemy will feel like they where against hundreds of Ravens.

I'd also like to add that characters don't get their powers until they're taken to the dimension where the war takes place.
 
How does the dimention world work? I need to make sure how Serra will swich personality, if posibble.
 
Name: Omega Nishikino
Age: 19
Gender: Male

Appearance: Omega has medium length, snow white hair and dark red eyes. Standing at 5'9" and weighing at 208 Lbs, Omega is somewhat muscular. he has three dark red hair braids hanging down on the left side of his face. His natural wardrobe consists of a white long-sleeve shirt worn underneath a black leather hooded jacket with a grey interior. He wears dark blue slim jeans with short black belts on the ankles. He wears black steel-toed boots. on his head, he wears sunglasses, and around his neck, he has a white gold necklace that has a golden ring with a sapphire stone. When his powers are active, his eyes glow a bright red, the ends of his hair spike up, and he gains a golden tilted halo over his head. he develops rings around his wrists and ankles. The most noticeable feature is the six black streamers with golden spikes at the tips that grow from his back, that generated an Ring of Light around Omega's back.

Personality: Omega has a kind and bubbly personality with a high level of friendliness. He also is a calm and mature person, who will always help out when needed. Although he has a peaceful nature, Omega should not be underestimated. When driven to fight, Omega will become a ruthless and homicidal person that will not show mercy. When fighting, he shows no emotion, and remains quiet.

Battle Paradigm: in close combat fights, his battle style consists of fast and powerful array of kicks. Since he is wearing steel-toed boots, his kicks are destructive. His arsenal consists of a 7' jagged Scythe with a tribal design on the blade. The scythe can shoot a chain from the end of the snaith. When fighting with his Scythe, he doesn't just focus on hitting with the blade, his battle style consists of rapid swings while hitting with the blade and the snaith, which has a spike. He also throws the Scythe, which will return back to him. He also owns two custom-made Colt 1911 .45 ACP handguns that, when powered up with his psychic energy, shoots explosive bullets. With these at hand, his battle Style consists of alternating between shooting the target and getting in close to pistol-whip the target. He also has an array of psychic powers, Like Telekinesis and Electrokinesis. When his powers are active, Omega's streamers on his back work as extra sets of hands. Omega can extend them at will, attacking with them by jabbing the target with them. Omega can also use his psychic powers with them, leaving his hands free.

Abilities:
- Lightning Attack Spear: Omega has the ability to generate a "spear of lightning" originating from his forehead. The electricity he produces, channels itself from his forehead to his hand. He then shoots it in a bright purple beam of electricity.
- Vector Break: Omega puts his hands forward and uses his natural telekinetic abilities to form a medium purple shield of telekinetic energy in front of him, which will catch any projectiles that enters its radius. Once caught, Omega can then return the projectile back at his foe with the same force it came with.
- Burning Raid: Using his Scythe, Omega raises it in the air and spins it. As it's spinning, the Scythe absorbs the light and heat around it, making the blade glow. He then throws it, cutting everything in it's way. The Scythe will then return back to him.
- Accelerate: Omega uses his psychic energy to increase his speed. He initiates a burst of speed at a short distance, when combined with his Scythe, Omega an slice through an object in the blink of an eye.
- Railgun: Omega's strongest attack. He can fire metal objects at three times the speed of sound by forming parallel currents on both sides of his arm with his electricity. His Railgun has a muzzle velocity of 1839.2 mph, and can be fired at a rate of 3 shots per minute. Even though this is his strongest attack, he still hasn't been able to master it, and will consume nearly all of his energy, leaving him powerless after use. He uses coins as his ammunition because they are small and easy to carry around.

Other: Omega has an IQ of 300. He is pretty much considered a walking library.

@lovandra; To answer your question, characters will be given a crystal by their deities to give them the power they need to transform. If your character is going to change forms the way you describe, she would need to obtain crystals from both deities. Furthermore, sustaining their transformations requires energy reserves and concentration. And should a character die in this world, they die for real.
@DJ Omega; I'd like you to tone down your character's abilities. I would rather have characters start off with more basic abilities, and learn stronger abilities as they develop. If you would kindly make that change, you'll be accepted.

You got it. Im'a need a little more time to think about it though. in the mean time, I erased his abilities. When I finish, I will edit my SU.
 
Name:Travis Ement
Age:16
Gender:Male
Appearance: Travis is a Caucasian, teenager. His body is average for his age and a little short. He has a shaggy, neck length and dark brown hair, with choppy bangs that covers his forehead. His face makes his look a little younger than he is. He has heterochromia which means that each eye has a different eye color; his right one is blue while the other is green. While his powers are active, he gains aura and his eyes glows of multitude colors.

His clothing style consists of dress shirts and t-shirts, predominantly of various shades of blue, green and grey. He wears cargo pants and jeans, usually with various pockets. He wears boots, running shoes and usually, shoes with skates. He carries a large, dark blue and rectangular bag that can be used as a backpack or a shoulder bag; various pins with his favorite things are on it. He also wears a silver octagon and a gold crescent pendant.

Personality:Travis is a very carefree and optimistic kid who is always cheerful. His happy go lucky and eccentric attitude tends to make him look childlike for his age. Since he is an artist, he frequently can be found with his sketch pad, doodling, drawing something that he found interesting or drawing designs for his graffiti. He is very idealistic and tries to see the good, or what can be good, in everything and everyone, although, he tends to be naive from time to time. His personality makes him very approachable to people and allows him to be friends with various kinds of people. He is always of help to them, even if he if it is inconvenient to him. He tries to avoid disappointing them and tends to hides his problems to avoid worrying them. He can't handle negative emotions well.

Battle Paradigm: Travis's weapons are bigger version of his pendants that float by his sides. The octagon's basic function is to shield while the gold crescent's is to attack with basic slashes. They are controlled with telekinesis.
Ability
1. Faith: The octagon is sent to the target and as long as it remains with them, their health will continuously regenerate, this make the shield unavailable for any other function.
2. Clear Guardian: The octagon forms a transparent shield that is very resistant but will break if it takes to much damage. It takes 20 second for it to regenerate.
3. Prism Shot: The crescent shoots continuous beams of bright colors
4. Shooting Ring: The crescent is shot at a direction as a disk of light.
5. Orbital Ring: The crescent rotates around Travis as a disk of light that damages around him.
Other: He levitates while his powers are active, allowing smooth movements.
 
My characther is ready.. kinda messy though so I open widely for comments and critics.. :3

@DJ Omega; It's good, but there's one minor detail I'd like you to fix: characters shouldn't have their strongest attacks anywhere near the beginning. But everything else is okay.

I was trying to say that it was his strongest attack from the five attacks he has in the beginning. Since you said,

But if you still want me to change it, I will.
 
Name: Yuki Tamaki
Gender: Male
Age:16

Appearance: Yuki is a 16 year old man with fairly slender build that's slightly muscled, with bright brown eyes with olive toned skin. He stands at 5,8 and weighs 140 lbs. Yuki can actually be described as a pretty boy, his hair being slightly messy, with a bright white confident smile. He typically wears an orange colored t shirt with pair of dark green cargo shorts and a pair of black sneakers. When using his powers, he has a pair of squirrel ears in place of his human ones, and a bushy squirrel tail protruding from where a human's tailbone would end. In this form, he wears a form fitting long sleeved orange shirt that shows off his physique, with a pair of black cargo shorts and a pair of orange colored combat boots. He also wears a pair of black leather fingerless gloves with a pair of orange colored iron knuckles with spikes lining the knuckles.

Personality: Yuki comes across as scatter brained, hyper, and slightly ditzy, however. Yuki can be quite cunning, resourceful, and smart when the time calls for it. He's very loyal and kind hearted, and he can be best described as loud and hyper during battle, often sporting a cocky grin. However, Yuki has a very frightening temper. In contrast to how ditzy and loud he is when he's happy, when Yuki get's mad, he get's really quiet and stern faced before he proceeds to pulverize his opponent. Yuki's hobbies include boxing, video games, and drawing.

Battle Paradigm: Yuki's power allows him to draw tremendous strength, at levels that would make him almost super human. He could easily lift five times as much as normal human, he's twice as agile, and his senses are much sharper in his battle form. His endurance also becomes much better in his paradigm form. In battle, Yuki prefers to be a close range fighter who doesn't give his opponent an inch when fighting. However, his magical abilities are rather lacking, and he only has one projectile. Meaning enemies who can effectively stay out of his reach can be troublesome.

Abilities:
Rocket Punch: Yuki generates energy within his fist, and punches the air, launching a fist shaped projectile at the opponent.

Flying Fist: Yuki launches at the opponent at a speed of about 30 MPH fist first, pulverizing his target.

Blazing Aura: Yuki ignites his fists with fire, and burns everything he punches, effectively doubling his damage output

Earth Shaker: Yuki punches the ground causing the ground to tremor and knock his grounded opponents of their feet.

Smack Down: Yuki launches the opponent with an upper cut and then launches them back down into the ground with tremendous force.

Change that part.. I also added something I have been though for their personalities to explain them more. I'm done except there are more comments :3.
