Veilstar looked around at her Clan as they worked. She could hear a bit of chatter, but it was nothing compared to the noise that used to fill the camp when there was an abundance of Pokemon. The pain in her gaze was evident so she focused on other things, causing her expression to change as well. The Clan needed prey, the fresh kill pile was low with only an old Pidgey and Rattata. She looked around for her Deputy, Aquaclaw, to ask him when patrols were going out. She watched the sun sparkle on the water of the stream across camp and sighed.
"Aquaclaw?" she called.

"Come on Robinpaw, you big sleepyhead, let's get up!" Mosspaw shouted, prodding her littermate with her paw.
"With that racket you'll scare the camp." he moaned, but got up all the same. The twosome wandered out of the den and into the center of the camp to look for their mentors.

Rocknose headed towards the apprentice's den, nodding to his kits as he passed them. He stuck his head into the entrance.
"Rainpaw?" he called.

Blitztail opened one eye.
They didn't like this kind of weather. The air seemed too silent.
They shook from an old injury, and went to wash their fur.

Aquaclaw grunted as he heard his name being called. He opened one eye, as his daze faded away. "Right." he said, walking off. Aquaclaw pranced through the dry grass, up to Veilstar "You rang?" he said, a little drowsily.

Re: Warrior Eevees:pokemon of the Clans

Veilstar could tell he had just recently woken up.
"Could you organize a hunting patrol, the fresh kill pile's low. I think the borders are fine for today." she said.
Of course the borders are fine, and even if they weren't the Clan's to weak to defend them...

Re: Warrior Eevees:pokemon of the Clans

Gracestar looked out from her den at the Clan. Despite the leaf-bare that had just raged through the Clan, the fresh-kill pile was decently-sized. Two plump Pidgey, a Spearow, and three Rattata. That would be enough for most of the day, hopefully.

Gracestar leaped nimbly down to the ground and headed for the warriors' den.

"Nightclaw!" Gracestar called. Nightclaw was out in an instant, gazing around with bleary eyes. "Yes?" he asked.

"I need you to organize a dawn patrol," Gracestar said. "Wake up some warriors to do it."

"Of course." Nightclaw went back into the den.

"Who wants to go on the dawn patrol?" he asked loudly, hopefully waking up anyone who was still asleep.

--------------------------------------------

Fallenleaf, meanwhile, was fast asleep. He had been up long into the night restocking the herb supply after the long leaf-bare. Luckily they'd had enough to keep anyone from dying in leaf-bare.

He woke up and instantly went to check the herb supply. They had a good amount of most everything, except the supply of catmint was rather low. Hopefully they wouldn't need any until they plants had begun to grow larger.

---------------------------------------------

Whitekit woke up in his warm nest. Leaf-bare was finally over, which meant plenty of food and no more worrying about getting sick.

Whitekit immediately left the den to get some fresh air. The cool newleaf winds had begun to pick up, and it ruffled his snowy white pelt. Whitekit stopped to lick it back to normal.

Whitekit's stomach growled, and he grabbed a small Pidgey from the pile to eat. Ah, this was a nice time, when everyone had enough food and enough sleep. Even though he was a kit, Whitekit wasn't a fool, and he knew that the Clan had suffered during leaf-bare.

All was well...

Blitztail sat at the small pool of water near the village.
They pulled their scarves closer around their body, and looked out across the pond. It was still early, so the village was pretty empty.
They took a deep breath, and began cleaning their right leg, it stinging painfully as they washed it.

Sunkit and Duskit were taking a nap in the shade. Duskit was so still, he looked dead. His sister was on her back, swatting the air in her sleep.

Rainpaw awoke to the sound of chatter, and the other two apprentices waking up and leaving.

"Rainpaw?" a rather gruffy voice called. The young Eevee immediately sprang to her feet, knowing fully well who was there. It was her mentor, Rocknose. And she wanted to be as good as an apprentice could be.

"Yes, Rocknose?"

Re: Warrior Eevees:pokemon of the Clans

"Let's go see what needs to be done around camp." he grunted. "Then we can see to your training." he turned away from the den and headed towards Aquaclaw.

Re: Warrior Eevees:pokemon of the Clans

Rainpaw nodded, following her mentor. Her paws padded along the ground with soft thuds, she was still learning about stelth and the like.

She noticed they were heading towards Aquaclaw, the Clan's deputy. Aquaclaw was a Vaporeon, and Rainpaw wished to be one, too.

OOC: How exactly should I organize the patrols?

"I'll get on that." Aquaclaw said stretching, and pawing the ground. He stood proudly on a large rock.

"Mosspaw! Come here!" Stormbob yelled, getting out of the giant tropical fruit that served as his house, wearing a pair of cubic trousers he had fashioned from grass. "I'm going to teach you to kill things for the glory of the clan!"

Shroomfoot stretched his arms and curled his back. It was almost time to begin the daily chores. Since he was the clan's medicine cat, he had the exemption of joining the patrols, though he did have to admit he missed going out hunting at times. The Juniper stocks were low, and he needed more mint. About now was the time he should think about taking on an apprentice too, though how many of the clan's kits were ready for such duty was yet to be seen.

He curled up on his warm rock inside the medicine cat den. Not being a warrior did allow him his own private chambers when sick cats did not require being brought in here. A few more hours wouldn't hurt.

OOC: @BeastieBayleef: Grab a small group of warriors _ apprentices (around 3 I guess) and just go around the border.

Rainpaw looked up to see StormClan's deputy jump up onto a large rock. She wondered what his announcement would be.

"Hey, Rocknose," she whispered to her mentor. "What are we going to work on today?"

OOC: Can it be Tangledkit's six-moon birthday, or does that defeat the purpose of him being a kit?

Blitztail entered Shroomfoot's place.
Their wounds were killing them today, as it was still fairly cold..
They looked around, seeing the place empty except for Shroomfoot snoring gently.
Blitztail coughed, and waited to see if the Medicine Cat would respond.

Splashkit leaped out of bed. "Where is everyone?" she thought. She cautiously creeped out of her den, poking her head out in the open. "Mommy?"

OOC: Looking for a mother.

Eaglepaw slowly opened his eyes, then mewed with shock. "I'm the only one left!" He ran out, then realized the day had already begun. "Why don't the other apprentices ever wake me up..." he thought, then plopped himself down on a rock. "Anyone need me?" he asked.

Is sign-ups still open? If so, I'm joining this "RPG".

OOC: You'll want to ask this in the sign-up thread for this RP instead of the start-up. As far as I know, it's still open to sign-ups. Welcome to the forums!

Silentsong stretched and looked around her clan. Leaf-bare was here, and the prey would be scarce. Looking at Veilstar, Silentsong dipped her head in respect, quickly licking her chest furt as the cold wind suddenly whipped up. As it died down, Silentsong settled in the camp, watching as several cats entered and exited the camp, wondering if she could soon do something. Sitting down wasn't exactly how she planned to spend the day in Leaf-bare, especially when it was cold. Running and some activity would warm her up...
