This forum needs a bit of activity, so I decided to pick up one of my favourite (popular) fandoms to hopefully spark some discussion!

First, we have Firestar, an orange tabby who was once a kittypet but is now the leader of ThunderClan.

Then we have Brambleclaw, son of the villain Tigerstar and the Deputy (a.k.a the future leader, in simple terms) of ThunderClan.

Both Contestants come from the Warrior cats fandom and both of them were main characters at some point (even though, arguably, Firestar was always more than Brambleclaw as he did not share the spotlight with other cats in the Original Series). Also, both of them had to work very hard to prove themselves despite their origins. They do have more similarities, but these are the more "factual" ones, if you will.

Question time!

In a one on one battle, who would win?
Who looks the best?
Which of these cats do you simply prefer?

My answers!

In a one on one battle, who would win?
Firestar has experience on his side, but he is getting older and Brambleclaw was always physically strong, and doesn't lack battle expertise either, so the brown tabby may have the upper hand. However, Firestar does have his extra lives to back him up, so if the battle was a matter of life or death, his chances of winning would be much better than Brambleclaw's.

Who looks the best?
Both are cats, so both are awesome, and orange and brown are equally awesome in my book.

Which of these cats do you simply prefer?
Brambleclaw. I always felt like Firestar had too much of the spotlight, barely sharing it with Greystripe and even less so with Ravenpaw, whereas Brambleclaw felt more balanced as he shared with well with the other cats from the prophecy he belonged to. While both of them had to prove they were loyal to the Clan because of their origins, I felt like Firestar's was tamer than Brambleclaw's. There are also some minor personality aspects that make me prefer our brown tabby warrior.
