Water Pokemon

It can't be extracted from the air - unless the Pokémon world is that much more humid... So it has to be synthesised in some sort of energy-matter conversion.

But that's not as important as the question of how do they aim and propel it?

Realistic reason: There is no reason, it just happens. Just like how TR is blasted off in every episodes and never seems to die, even though being shot into the sky thousands of feet iwithout any landing equiptment would instantly kill someone. It's a cartoon.

Scientific reason that probably wouldn't work: They shoot out Hydrogen, which combines with Oxygen to make Water!

In earlier episodes, I noticed a lot how they put Staryu into the water when it would use Water Gun (like sucking out the water and pressurizing it through its body when it released it), or at least have it shoot out bits of water, as if it were stored within the body, when out of the water (like against Butterfree in Cerulean). However, they seemed to break the rule when Squirtle-squirt came along.

Maybe it is stored in their body somewhere, like the kidney ( that is if they have organs).

maybe their bodies produce it, maybe it's not totally water
I've never seen anyone drink Squirtle water
;D

Im guessing that it comes a part of the body that stores water but how does a swampert use mud shot it like comes from there mouth. but im guessing maybe they genarate it in there bodys.

There could always be a special organ whose sole purpose it is to generate water. Some could be stored, and maybe some is drawn from their own body. I just wish I could remember the scientific view on how dragons could breathe fire. There might be something valid in that theory that could apply here.

First it's a cartoon and second there might be a chemical reaction. I don#t think they have the water somewhere in their body. Maybe something from their body reacts with the air outside and it becomes water.
Another theory is, it is less water than we think. Yes we see a lot of blue substance coming out of the mouth, but maby there is much more air or bubbles in this water than we think? It looks like alot of water but in real it's just a bit.

Haven't you noticed that so much of what happens in Pokemon involves mass-energy conversion? This issue, for example, or various other projectile/particle attacks, or Poke Balls, etc. The water just manifests.

WHOA! Someone just revived a 5-year-old thread. I really don't know, they might produce it in their bodies.

I agree. They probably create it and with natural water, the molecules multiply producing more liquid.

It's like how Pokeballs can store huge creatures inside them, the water/mud is converted into energy and is reconverted to matter when the Pokemon uses it for an attack.
