This is my first fanfic ever. I decided to base this of of the pokemon Ranger seires. Ive never done this before so let me know whether its good or not. here it goes.
Chapter 1: Captain's orders 9:37am
"Meteor clusters hit Earth. Regions begin Evacuation."
"Wait? Evacuation of Earth? To where?"
"Kellyn is that all you can think about right now?"
"OK Lunick, I'll shut up"
The two forgot what was on the monitor for the next hour due to their argument. Kellyn's partner, Gallade, briskfuly walked in the op's center.
"What you got Gal?"
Gallade responded. "One, don't call me that and two, Barron wants you to help him train the nooby pilots."

"Welcome to Heli 101. Now before we get started I see alot of you flying like a drunk Yanmega. When you start landing 30 meters off it makes you look like an ass. Private Kellyn show em what I'm talking about."
"You see that? He did'nt start fliping out all over the damn range. You have to fly it from a stable level, and not rush things. Plus you gotta learn how to hit you targets from up there. Private show what you got on this."
Kellyn interupted. "Hold up a sec, Before I continue can I ask if the Mossdeep Space Administration ever called for evac for this area?"
He didnt continue to answer.

Chapter 2: Ten plus foot mobiles 1:28pm
Kellyn woke up nearly under the remains of the helicopter he once flew. The sky was black and he heard nothing but gunfire.
Lunick found him and worriedly got him up and handed him an M240
"Lunick can you at least tell me what the shit is going on"
He responded covered in sweat. "We are covered at all corners by unknown hostiles. Just stay low and defend the crash site as well as possible OK?"
After nearny half an hour of gunfire on shadows they became invisible in the smoke.
"A timeless chorus, join your voice with mine and sing victory everlasting..." Said a voice that came fromwhere the hostiles where.
Lunick became as white as a ghost. "Its not safe here, we have to get as far away as possible."
"No shit Sherlock." Kellyn responded
They got about 2 feet from the crash site when they noticed various lights in the sky. They ran like hell. It was raining asteroids.
BOOM
"WOOOAH!" Exclaimed Lunick
BOOM
"What the hell is goin on!?"
BOOM
"Just keep running! GO! GO!"
They dove into a barracks BOOM the windows shatered along with part of the wall.
Kellyn was panting. "Dammit, I got shell shock from a meteor, what about you?"
"Me too, this is weird bro" Mumbled Lunick.
Gallade limped in covered in ash. Kellyn was very suprised
"Thank Arceus your still alive"
Gallade whispered. "They arent human, none of them.
"Well what are they?" Kellyn asked curiously.
"I saw them as Garchomp, maybe Toxicroak. But one I cant be sure of."
Lunick wondered. "Why would pokemon like that be here, let alone attack Humans?"
Kellyn interjected. "But what about the one? If we don't know what it is we'll end up like everyone else."

Chapter 3: U-Turn 2:36pm
The 3 decided that they would need to reach anywhere but where they were before the smoke cover dissipated. It was nearly impossible to breathe or see in the harsh conditions. Gallade noticed a shadow just exiting a tent.
“Whoever is there respond! Respond or we will fire on you!”
“Look I’m not sure what to do, I’m just a runner!”
They got close enough to notice her face. Both Lunick and Kellyn realized they ran into Agent Lucy Fleetfoot. She explained what she needed to tell everyone.
“We need to get to the nearest Ranger base in Sootopolis City”
Kellyn whined. “But we’re hardly close to Fortree! How are we supposed to get there?”
“We’ll find a way OK.” Responded Lucy in a frustrated tone.
On their journey out of the base they came across a myriad of corpses: Human, Garchomp, Toxicroak, even Gabite. They then caught sight of a number of shadows. Gallade decided to yell a code and see if they’d respond.
“Pearl...PEARL! Say Palkia dammit just say it.”
Suddenly many Garchomp dashed over.
“CONTACT!” Screamed Lunick.
Few went up straight to maul them. Others carried hand weaponry like knifes and even guns they took and smacked them with. Everyone was confused, and stayed confused until they were able to make it to Fortree City where they could rest for the night.
“I have defeated fleets of thousands! Consumed a Galaxy of flesh, and mind, and bone!”
Kellyn burst his eyes open as he heard that. He shifted to view the clock: 4:06am. He obviously heard it as a dream, but a very real dream. Kellyn didn’t go back to sleep for he was paralyzed in shock.

Chapter 4: Well, so much for that 6:00am
The six o’ clock alarm went off. Everyone got ready to leave, for they planned on getting to Sootopolis by Friday. Today is Wednesday so needed to rush this. They dashed south through Route 120.
Gallade decided to let them know about the legendary chamber in which Registeel is held. Although Lucy helped them to not become side-tracked by “Fairytales.”
A matter of time passed before they ran into a herd of Tropius. The 4 were lucky to come across them, for Tropius are almost never seen in that area. Kellyn got out his styler to capture one, but before he could make his first loop Tropius stepped on it.“Well, so much for that. What do we do know? Hey a rare candy! My lucks starting to turn.”
The 4 decided that they’d attempt to take down the toughest one. Gallade would hold it down with psychic; Kellyn and Lucy would tackle it while Lunick would take the styler.
As expected it succeeded. They flew and continued on to Lilycove city. That’s when they were shot down. Gallade safely teleported them down so that they wouldn’t fall to their death.
“Now, the gate has been unlatched, headstones pushed aside, corpse’s shift and offer room; a fate you must abide!”
It was talking with no mouth; arms that could take shape of tentacles of the DNA double-helix; a purple sphere embedded into its chest.
Kellyn asked worriedly. “Gallade? Is this the one you were talking about yesterday?”
It was. Toxicroak came from the forest as the being teleported away. They had to fend them off but during the fight Lunick was knocked down and stabbed in the stomach. Once it was over they found him up against a tree. Lucy ran up to him
“How is it?”
He could hardly breathe “Gasp…not good...”
“We’re gonna get you out of here.” Gallade exclaimed.
“Not by air we’re not.” Whispered Kellyn

Chapter 5: Endless Ocean 6:20pm
Everyone was able to get help for Lunick in Lilycove City. The others left him at the hospital overnight. The Dawn of the Next day everyone checked on Lunick. Lunick was still in horrible condition, with a gaping hole almost straight through him. Kellyn decided to make their journey to Sootopolis a reference to Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask by saying “Dawn of the second day, 48 hours remain.” This was actually true because the day was Thursday and they did need to make it to Sootopolis by Friday.
It was far from easy to get anyone across the Route 124 and Route 126 to Sootopolis not to mention Lunick wasn’t expected to be up and around until almost a month, so they’d have to carry him the way there. And to make it more challenging they had no Pokémon that could surf. So they had but one option; buy a couple fishing rods at the nearby Wal-Mart.
“Damn, super rods are expensive.” Whined Kellyn
“Well what do you expect? You can catch a wailmer level 40 no problem with one of these.”
The 4 actually did catch a wailmer with stylers. They caught it at level 42 and it did know surf. The only problem was Wailmers were too small to carry all four of them. They checked it pokedex data and it is said to evolve at level 40. Kellyn fed it the rare candy he found earlier to have the Wailmer evolve into wailord in a blinding light. They all got aboard and began heading down to route 126.
They got to route 126 as soon as the sky began to turn orange. They agreed on catching staryu’s to light the path onward.

Chapter 6 Rangers must be strong 5:30 am
The 4 disembarked at the outskirts of Sootopolis in the very early Friday morning. The only problem was that they would need to submerge to get there. They also had the option of climbing up the rocks, so they found that to be the best idea. The scent of salt water filled the air around them as the wailord left along with the other staryu. Although upon scaling the sea cliff, an aroma of bug filled the air. Then, an intense beedrill swarm transpired.
They observed extensive ground action. The enemy forces lacked basic cohesion, but quickly gained numerical superiority. 1 hour after origination of the attack, 83% of local forces were severely injured (there weren’t very many local forces,) following the evacuation of unmolested population centers. The estimated number of citizens evacuated before the commencement of the bombardment: 28,797 civilians, (6.21% of the entire city’s population.)
Lunick was luckily not harmed during the combat, but his situation was not getting any healthier. They brought him to the hospital immediately. The doctors could only guarantee the next few hours or so.
Kellyn, Gallade, and Lucy proceeded onto the Ranger base, hoping that everyone knew what happened at the base on the outskirts of Fortree. Luckily they did. There was an assembly discussing the problem on the upper floor. That is where they met the ranger leader of Sootopolis, Wendy.
Kellyn was surprised. “Wait, THE Wendy?”
She retorted. “No, you’re thinking of the Wendy from Almia, the one who’s better at flying tactics. I am better when it comes to things like the cavalry of the Ranger forces.”
“So, like….”
“Driving and heavy weaponry.”
The threesome went back to check on Lunick. He wasn’t conscious. The heartbeat sensor (that’s what I call it) was still showing he was alive so they had that going for them. Although that’s when it abruptly came flat lined.
“NO!!” Screamed Lunick.
Gallade walked up to him. “Your teachers wisely kept compassion; sealed their thoughts on what needed to be done. Are you getting this? I hope you are. Rangers must be strong.”
