I think there theyre getting one, i proposed G/S/C remake. I'd like to see Yellow remade on the Wii, involving, fully based off the anime characters, and Brock and Misty tagging along in a party.
 
You can obtain the Johto starters in:
-Colosseum (all three in their second forms)
-XD (all three in their first forms)
-Emerald
They also had a role in Pinball RS that no other non-Hoenn Pokémon other than Aerodactyl got. Their coverage has been fine.

But, yes, a GS remake is looking very likely.
 
I dunno, but I found the GS starters particularly...dull...maybe because theu weren't dual...
 
I don't know what will come faster. People whining about G/S remakes for the billionth time or Nintendo actually making the announcement.

I really don't see that as being likely because Yellow was made to represent the current saga of the anime at the time (i.e. Kanto), they have no reason to remake Kanto yet again when the last remakes are barely 2 1/2 years old.

And don't get me started on Misty/Brock tagging along with you, just no. :p

*shudder* I don't want to play anything like that, I'd feel compulsed to follow the storyline down to a tee.

"Shit, Metapod hasn't evolved and I'm in Vermillion already? What's going on? Why's my Pidgeotto so low a level? I can't find my Pikachu!"

And so on.

But yeah, I liked the Johto starters a lot, second only to Kanto's starters. They appear in Mystery Dungeon, but that's not really their game... still, a G/S remake would please you in that department.

And that means what exactly? All it means to me is that they're a part of the table, not catchable. Same with Totodile and Aerodactyl. I thought this catching Chikorita, Cyndaquil, Totodile, and Aerodactyl business was fake, and after getting the 201 Pokemon and getting the message that I completed the Pokedex, it convinces me even more that it's not true.
 
Actually, with some e-Reader cards, or a cheating device, they're catchable. It's right on many trusty fansites.

Excuse me sir, i only have an Emerald version.. I haven't played Colosseum nor XD.. Could you tell me how to get them?? Or just give me a link to any site that contains info about how to obtain the Johto starters on Emerald.. Thanks!! =D

In Emerald, after completing the National Dex, Professor Birch will give you ONE of the Johto starters (its your choice which one)
 
That's interesting, but I don't own the 3rd gen games... only 1st, 2nd and 4th - Diamond.
I really want those three starters on Diamond... anyone got more than one and wants to trade? :D

Kazzie, I just PMed you on this. Anyone else interested in Johto starters? Going to London for the Mew event (sorry Vinny but I am going just for Mew), but breeding the Johto starters is something simple and mindless I can do on the bus. Oh, and sleep. But why do that? I'll have Johto (and Kanto) starter hatchlings available on my return. Don't mind what comes back in return. I wouldn't mind a Spiritomb or a Japanese Pikachu (ha!). BUT NO BIDOOFS!

but that kind of logic should apply to Jukain as well. Instead, he's one of the most badass mother fuckers out there. ^^ Likewise, you might as well criticize Goukazaru for having the same type as its 3rd generation predecessor.

I will give you that they shouldn't have given the Bakuphoon line the exact same stats as the Lizardon line, though. I mean, what the fuck?

At least Bakuphoon isn't overrated and ridiculously whored out like Lizardon.
