There must be some serious wapanese money to gain in hollywood. Personally, I'd find this insulting to put in the LotRS, and maybe I'm being too harsh, but did anybody watch any part of ABC's "I Survived A Japanese Game Show"?

It's serious exploitation, highly irritating, highly... Weaboo TV. Maybe I'm not being fair, I already hated it from the commercials to be honest (so why watch it? It's Tuesday night, Gotta hate something :p ), and the kung-fu FXs in the intro iced the cake.. but how can a show like this be allowed on American TV?

I mean, I'm pretty sure (99%) that the game show host is actually an American actor. I know I've seen him as a minor character in movies and TV shows. (Maybe I've seen him in a Japanese program and got confused... but unlikely because he doesn't look Japanese, and his fake accent when speaking English isn't even consistent)

I just don't like the stereotypes it portrays.. but maybe it isn't fair (because maybe there will be a point made at the end of the series about it, and it won't just re-establish modern Japanese Stereotypes form America)... maybe somebody likes this thing.

but seriously... give this thing the Axe fast!

Holy crap! And I thought I was complaining when I saw it. My mom told me specifically that this show was coming on and called me out to watch it since I never watch tv. But I did.

I disliked the stereotypes also but I liked seeing suburban Japan on American television for once (in live action), since all we usually see is the city. I usually only see pictures on the internet.

I liked the accents a lot. I thought that guy was genuine ;-;
and it helped me a little with my Japanese.

I saw the comercial.

I said wtf? lol, they'd show anything nowadays

Remembered Farmer wans a wife, and also that Paris Hilton was making a TV show to search for her new best friend

Didn't watch.

Eh.

I can't believe they would show bull on TV nowadays.

The Simple Life gave me a stupid laugh, but now it's showing a stereotype of the Japanese? The fuck, man.
