There's a great series of Transformers ones. While it helps if you're a fan, you usually don't have to in order to get the jokes.

Them Funny Robots - The link goes to the table of contents on the message board where the strip is shown.

A great example:

Them Funny Robots #74

Another Transformers strip:

The Funny World 2005 - Again, linked to the post that links to all the strips.

And, again, you don't have to be a Transformers fan to get a kick out of it, but it adds a little to it.

Among the ones I like.(Links not coming 'cause I'm lazy, so google. :p)

8-bit theater is great. Truly great. An absolute classic.

Sexy losers is hilarious, though the subject matter may be inappropriate...

Megatokyo should need no recommendation... I try to catch it when I can.

Okashina Okashi is one of those webcomics that doesn't, as far as I know, have megatokyo-sized reknown, but it should.

And on some more obscure notes, I also like Drowtales and Sparkling Generation Valkyrie Yuuki, but I'm not sure how good they are these days...

Google 'em if you want to read them...

quantz.com Dinosaur Comics, Penny Arcade, VG Cats, Dork Tower, and No Need for Bushido are the only ones I read with any regularity. I also read this on occassion, although it's not one of my favorites...

Megatokyo pwns all.
Also, there's Pokemon X, a brilliant sprite comic based on R/S. 8 Bit is okay, but Captain SNES is rather grood.

www.bobandgeorge.com A Megaman sprite comic. A lot of them were pretty doggone funny. You don't have to be a fan to understand it, either. It might be that we've seen the same sci-fi movies, though. :p

Dominic Deegan: Oracle for Hire is worth being on the bookmark lists of any serious webcomic fan. Brilliant storytelling, great artwork and features the only man MAN enough to wear pink in public.

Other reccomendations of mine are: The Pet Professional (not reccomended if you're a fan of animals) and Stage Select for those looking for a (funny) non-sprite Mega Man comic.

And holy crap, El Goonish Shive. I forgot all about that comic.

Megatokyo is horrendous!

VGCats can be brilliant, the only drawback is it's absolutely necessary for you to have played the game that's the subject of a particular strip, otherwise it won't be funny.

Megatokyo is only good if you're a depressed wuss who'll never be ballsy enough to get laid.

PA, VGCats, RealLife, PVP, C+A+D

I like that Penny Arcade comic where the people are standing in line at E3 to see the Megatokyo guy.

"HE'S NOT EVEN FUCKING JAPANESE!"
"HE'S FROM WISCONSIN, YOU FUCKS!"

Haha, yeah, the drawing is fantastic for MT, if you like that kind of stuff. If you look at what he has up for his break for Otakon, it's a terrible drawing of a girl. Absolutely horrible.

At least PA is funny, I tried to read MT and stopped after the 3rd "n00b" joke

Google 'em if you want 'em.

8 bit Theater
Applegeeks
Clone.Manga (Home of April & May, Kanami, Nana's Everyday Life, Paper Eleven, & Tomoyo42's Room)
Ctrl-Alt-Del
Ghastly's Ghastly Comic (a.k.a. Tentacle Monsters and the Women who love them)
Megatokyo
MISFILE
Penny Arcade
Real Life Comics
Sexy Losers
The Powerpuff Girls Doujinshi

I also used to read Exploitation Now (Over) & Okashina Okashi (Stopped after it started going downhill following the storywriter leaving).

I read very few webcomics.

Untitled! - A fun, if rather odd, furry webcomic involving a kangaroo rat who's a scientist, a hare whose family got mostly killed off (she and her cousin are the only survivers), and alternate universes.

Dinosaur comics - Yes, they for the most part look exactly the same, but eh.

That Dominic Deegan one looks interesting so far.
