Hey everybody, I'm new here to bulbagarden forums, and right off the bat I've noticed a lack of strength in our trading card game sections. I'm not sure how the rules on posting things go, I'm going to link you all to my newish youtube show Prof-it! to try to help out! the show is geared toward new and old players alike, and works toward explaining great decks, tournaments, and strategies across the game. I clicked on your link. I have to say, I really enjoy your show. Only a few episodes so far, but I see it's already really good :)

Looks pretty interesting; I watched the Rumble review then went back and viewed everything else. I've been thinking about trying to get back into the TCG lately, and your show has done some to motivate me. Good work!

Just seen your review.. And it's great.. :)

Though I still prefer the original card game, it feels kinda boring to me.. I mean you can play it TOTALLY without thinking.. Lolx...
 
I don't play, but after watching just one episode you made me want to. You really sound like you know what you're talking about, and for some reason you sound like a teacher with that voice, as well as you demonstrating the techniques and showing the needed cards in the technique so people don't need to look them up. So I really quite like these videos. Hopefully in time, yes, I will turn up more in the tabletop section.

Your Ultra Ball table's nice, too.

The SP cards sure kill the old cards.. Having such a fast charge up compare to a normal deck.. Too bad I don't have many cards of it.. DX

thanks a ton for all the kind words! It's people like you that the show is directed toward the most :P. I just started filming the episodes over the ultraball playmat and I think they look really great :D. The only bad thing about pokemon is it's 100-200$ for the most competitive deck pricetag, but if you've got a job it's an excellent way to make new friends and spend your time :)

The funny thing is, I HATE SP :P. I've only played with them in one tournament and try to stay off them :P. I played a machamp flygon deck with much more machamp than flygon which dealt with SP quite nicely at city champtionships :D. The only decks I ever lost to were gengar and the mirror :P
 
I love the show and I also love how you're able to pull off the energetic feel without seeming overly infomercial cheesy.

It makes me want to collect and play the cards like I did in the olden days of Base Set, Jungle, and Fossil, but I just can't bring myself to spend that kind of money without the chance of getting ye old Charizard I never got.

haha it must be because I'm actually energetic about the game, I guess! :P

I will admit, it's an expensive game for sure, but it's worth it if you have the money to blow and feel yourself getting bored all the time :D

Nah, just kidding. In all seriousness, I am kind of disappointed that such awesome looking cards turn out to not be any good, although I never knew they came in two parts. That just seemed kind of weird to me.
As usual, these videos are great, and I've just suscribed so you can remind me to go and buy some cards when I've got the time. And then we can chat about our Great Encounterz Mudkipz.
Where did you get that shirt? I must have it. o_o

thanks for subscribing! they're not "horrible" but they're just non-competitive cards that will be restricted to fun decks.
