Are there any TV series that you don't think make any sense or just plain weird? This is the thread to tell everyone what TV series you think are ridiculous.
As for me, I think the dumbest TV shows are:
24-A show about terrorism (I think) in which all of the events take place within 24 hours. Now, how much stuff within the confines of the plot happen in one day?
Prison Break-Now, I can understand a show about a couple of lab rats with always-failing plans to take over the world or a group of castaways stuck on an uncharted island, but a series about breaking out of prison? How many plans to escape from the clink that end up in failure can be made to keep that series going?
Drive: As far as I know, this series involves a cross-country race. That should be better off as a movie.
Pinky, Elmira and the Brain-It's about two lab rats with plans to take over the world. At least, they would be "lab" rats if they weren't stuck being pets of some creepy little girl. Now who's the wise guy who teamed up Pinky and the Brain with Elmira in the first place?
TV shows that I find weird, but I (used to) like are:
Histeria-Elementary school History Class gone Topsy-turvy.
A Pup Named Scooby-Doo- "Those meddling kids" really are kids and the show has a lot more of Tex Avery-styled gags.
My Mother; The Car-The main character's mother died prior to the start of the series and her soul was reincarnated into a jalopy. I haven't even seen that show, yet I'm pretty sure why it didn't last very long...
Brandy & Mr. Whiskers: A pampered pooch and a dumb bunny get themselves stranded in the Amazon. It's Disney animated series, yet the characters, jokes and episode plots are like those in Nicktoon series.
