Hey Everyone

Just wondering what was the weirdest thing that anyone has experienced in a Pokemon game?. , (apologies if this has been posted before or is in the wrong section).

My weirdest experience was in Pokemon Sapphire, after I had beaten the elite four, I mixed records with my brother. I then went to my in game fan club, my whole fan club bar one kept talking about my brother, and how they wanted to be just like him, ( this didn't happen to him) They still kept this up till I sold this game on....

The second was a good kind of weird, as I have tried chaining many times in a pokemon game, and never succeeded. Anyway, a few months back, I started ev training, (began with my swampert),in ev training in defence. I flew to the orerburgh mine in pokemon pearl to begin. I was four geodudes in, and came across a SHINY geodude! I was soo stunned that I caught it, (so pleased with it)
 
One thing that weirded me out years ago happened a few times in Silver, years back. I was switching my Pokemon away, but the opponent used Pursuit. I was like, "What? Is this a glitch??"

Of course, back then, I didn't know Pursuit's effect.
 
ha ha same thing always happens to me when i chain i was chaining a starly once and after 30 max repels when i was on chain no. 40 i gave up then i chained a staravia and a shiny patch came after after the first chain!!!!!!!!!!!!

also im currently in the midst of a 20,000 pokemon shiny drought both in pokemon rumble and platinum :(
 
A long time ago, I was playing Pokémon Gold. I have no idea what happened, but something glitched (no gameshark), and I got a whole load of items to put in my house (dolls and stuff like that). I have no proof, because someone stole my game (along with the GBC).
 
The outbreak of Seedot in Sapphire (after mixing records with Ruby) confused me for a long time since none of the popular Pokémon sites listed Seedot to be available in Sapphire in any way. Other than that, I can't really think anything else "weird".
 
Back then, I encountered two shiny's in a row. But I was little back then and saw them as a glitch...fainted them both :(
I'm pretty sure they were Golbat, Onix.
I was pretty mad when i figured it out, later on.

When I first discovered Missingno. :c It was just before G/S/C game out, and I already knew every single G/S/C Pokémon off-by-heart. My Cousin told me the Missingno./M glitch, but said that I'd find a Mantine from G/S/C if I do it. I was really little so of course I believed him, and I did it, sound Missingno. and thought "OH MY GOD WHAT THE WHAT THE WHAT THE"

Also as mentioned above, Pursuits effect often catches me off-guard in the middle of a battle.

Also when I first found a shiny on Gold, before Red Gyarados of course. I knew it was special, and I didn't freak out and turn off my game like most people did xD But I did think "IT MUST BE SUPER STRONG" when it wasn't, although that isn't weird, more wut.

Oh and letting my Brother borrow my Pokémon Sapphire for a few days, and when I got it back, he was still at second town, however, he hadn't beaten any Gym Leaders, but had a level thirty Grovile, level high-twenty Mightena, Linoone, Kirlia and Dustox. I thought, How could he train them that much!?
Oh and they were all nicknamed after Naruto characters...
 
I remember when doing the Missingno glitch for the first time, a friend explained how to do it and why to do it...so I tried and got totally freaked out when I saw Golbats and Golducks over Lv.100, and freaking Golbat wouldn't let me escape and just massacrated my whole team everytime I ran into one of those....

In many future playthroughs I got Golbats and Golducks when trying the glitch so I thought that was normal when doing it (the real thing is that I always used the same name everytime, my real name) but there was this time where I used a different name it seems, and when doing the glitch found a wild Charmeleon (I started with Bulba and didn't have access to Link Cable so it was awesome to get it), I almost crapped my pants seriously I wasn't expecting Charmeleon to pop up, the other one was Aerodactyl.

I was playing Gold in VBA once and because I'm a lazy guy I overuse the speed button, I was in Ilex Forest at 3000% doing a little bit of grinding, the point is a Metapod appeared and I killed it...then I thought..."wait, that wasn't a green Metapod.......D'OH!!!!"
 
On Gold, right before it died, my sister and I discovered she had a large amount of mystery gift stuff. We still don't know how it got there.

On my first runthrough of silver, all my pokemon in my boxes swapped nicknames for some reason (they were all nicknamed). It got annoying after a while.
 
I had a friend who used to use missingno all the time for stuff in Blue. She also used to find Growlithe out in the water. No along Cinnabar, but out in the ACTUAL WATER, because of the glitches and stuff.
 
I swear that once splash worked when I was playing Blue on that-which-must-not-be-named.
 
-The high levelled Magikarp in Platinum.

-The fact that the "church" in Hearthome has no music.

In Emerald near mossdeep once of the rocks in the water is missing three parts to it, there's only one-quarter of the sprite. Also in Diamond when I had got to Hearthome for the first time I was surprised of the church-building, thinking it was odd for a building like that to be there in a pokemon game.
 
- Captured a shiny Geodude during Gold.. My sister and I were like, "Wow.. It sparkles!"

- Yeah.. And encounter a lvl 90+ Magikarp during fishing in Platinum..

The wierdest thing to happen to me happened a LOOOOOOONG time ago. When I was playing my gold version some sort of glitch turned my Gyrados into an Arbok named Gyarados.
