What 4kids would have done?

Ever watch the DP or BW Anime and wondered what it'd be like if 4kids was still dubbing the series? I certainly do at times.

So here's a thread where you can think and discuss what DP and BW would be like if 4kids dubbed those series. Think about these to get yourselves started:

1. Would it be better or badder than TPCi's dub?

2. What would be edited out for content and why?

3. What would be rewritten for the dub's script and why?

4. Who would voice the new character (Paul, Barry, Trip, Iris, etc) and what would they sound like?

5. Use your imagination.

I don't recall there being many Japanese elements, but there may be unnecessary text edits. They might've hated on Lenora, although it would make no sense. The background music would most likely be mostly changed, although they might keep a few random tracks. I never knew 4kids to edit the script too much, with the exception of making it more shippy. I don't recall them doing this in AG, though, but I may be mistaken. All in all, for the people that like the dub to be as true to the raw as it can be, it would be their worst nightmare, and to some extent, I may have had some beef with it, too. Who the voices would be and who they would do is impossible to say. They seemed fairly random on casting, but again, I could be mistaken.

They would have made Bouffalant white, rather than having brown fur.

Also, Maddie outright said that 4kids would have let her voice Chatot, due to her love of parrots.

They'd probably have the animators remove the apron and keep her black skin since the games make her black.

I get the feeling Veronica Taylor would have voiced Dawn if 4Kids was still dubbing the show, She did a great voice for May.

Actually that's why she wouldn't have voiced Dawn, it would have sounded too similar to May.

Probably Lisa Ortiz would have voiced Dawn.

I don't know they would have found away and they wouldn't have cared in the least how sloppily it was done. Exhibit A, "Jelly filled donuts" I was five years old when I saw that episode for the first time, and I knew darn well that that indeed, was not a jelly filled donut...T_T I didn't know what it was but, I knew it wasn't a jelly filled donut....

Yet another girl voice would have sounded too similar. People often said May and Delia sounded alike at times.

Honestly, I don't think they would have fiddled with J's explosion. They didn't do anything with the lab explosion in the first movie.

Also Dan Green would have been both Cyrus and Tobias, and possibly Alberto and Kodai as well.
