What 4th gen pokemon deserved a bigger spotlight in DP?

With DP ending soon I think everyone looks back on the series, and how it matches up with the older seasons. Like all seasons they paced out the debut of many Pokemon.{Not complaining though about that.} We didn't see the final forms of two of the starters till over a 100 eps if you don't count the movies.

If there was one 4th gen poke you wished you could have seen more of, what would it be? For me I gotta go with Spiritomb. Granted the one episode we did see it in was a awesome one, with great humor and a fantastic battle. I guess the writers just couldn't see giving it to even Paul.

Burmy formes, Tangrowth, Spiritomb, Rotom.

Edit: Also Probopass.

Edit 2: Also Cherrim and Skorupi.

that one. It's been overshadowed quite a bit by Drapion. The obvious answer would be PorygonZ of course. My preference here would go out to Gastrodon. Save for a few cameo's left and right, it never really got anything.

I second all of the above. Tangrowth and Spiritomb are some of my favourite Pokemon, but sadly they don't get much showtime. I guess Spiritomb has a reason to have one episode dedicated to it, but every other Pokemon definitely could use more spotlight.

i think glaceon and leafeon should have appeared more i would have like more galade as well.
Although controversial i would have liked for Porygon-Z to have at least made a cameo

Burmy formes

THIS
I'm still annoyed at how they didn't appear at all, not even in the background =\
Someone here speculated that maybe Brock's reason to leave would be to help young trainers - if something like that happens and there's a whole ep about it, I hope we see some kids with the Burmy forms... but that's very unlikely to happen, I know...

TV show-wise, we could see more of Manaphy, Giratina and Arceus... but I understand them since they're legendaries... and Porygon-Z didn't appear for obvious reasons, but of course I'd like to see it too...
Other than Burmy and these, I think most of Poké got at least a few decent appearances
We could see more of the blue Shellos, but I guess I should be happy it got THAT and not the same as the Burmy forms...
Kricketot could get its proper appearance in early DP rather than by Nando in the GF

I think that Gallade probably should have had more appearances.
Lickilicky, because I am biased :p
I also agree with probopass. Heatran also needs a proper appearance in the anime :p (unless it was in an episode I didn't bother to watch)

oh yes, Gastrodon! *hugs her Gloobs in Platinum* I love that thing. It's so cute and fab.

But yeah, the only thing we really got from it was Cynthia's in those Celestic Town episodes. ): poor fat slug pooooopie.

Umm...There were a few Wormadam in movie 10 and all three forms were owned by Cheryl.

I wish we could have seen more of Tangrowth. It's one of my favorite Gen IV pokemon.
And I wish that Porygon-Z could've gotten at least a cameo. That incident happened years ago. Can't the wirters showcase the Porygons without hazardous situations?

I would say uality over quantity for some of the aformentioned. Gallade got the GF final and Gastrodon will be in the Paul match.

My choice would be Vespiqueen. Such a unique pokemon with different attack and we pretty much saw it a bit in that Cheryl episode and a little bit in the Aaron episode where it was overshadowed by Darpion and Butterfree.

That is why we said Burmy. Burmy's formes except Grass cloak never appeared. But Wormadam's did.

Oh. I didn't read hard enough. :dizzy:

But that reminds me, did we even get to see Kricketot more than once? I only recall seeing it once...

I agree with this. Its one of the only ones I would've really cared to see more of.

Far too little Probopass for my liking. You couldn't even see it's eyes for 90% of it's debut episode :/

Agreeing with Vespiquen too. One of the most interesting bug type pokemon for a while, and largely refreshing after years of Beedrill

I'd have said Froslass too, but it looks like it'll get a little redemption by the skin of it's teeth.

...did Burmy even make it into the anime? Or past the debut episode of the season?

Cheryl had a Burmy that evolved into a Mothim.

But yeah, Vespiquen, I forgot that one. She has three signature moves but appeared very little. Poor thing.
