What About a Fourth Evolution?

Not sure if this has been discussed, but I wonder if there will be any fourth evolutions for anyone.

Also, can you think any good Pokes who might be candidates for this?

edit: technically it would be the Pokemon's THIRD evo, fourth stage. Thanks Rishi.

Most of the butterflies and their equivalents could use an evolution, as could Garchomp; he needs a little more power.

I think it's possible, and a perfectly good idea, but I have a feeling they'd abuse it if they implemented it. They would feel like they had to make four-part evolutions for all the starters and such.
 
This is my first post on here! :)

I've actually thought about this exact issue while playing the games.

I thought, "How come some Pokemon evolve once, and some twice?" Then I wondered, "How come they don't evolve again?"

So yea, I agree that it would be a cool thing to see. They have proven they can come up with evolutions later on like Rhyperior.
 
If they did add a forth, then pokemon will become more complement. i mean they made the evolvion system more complex, now with the genders, new stones, areas and moves.

Go go Garchomp evolution. Would become by far the most powerful non-legend.

[sarcasm]yeah, lets give it +10 on all ev's when it evolves too, won't really make much difference! Yeah, more power garchomp!!![/sarcasm]

Seriously, a garchomp evolution would be bad, its already got the highest stats of a non legend.

Don't know if I'd like another evolution... and by fourth I assume you mean third? It would mess up the game to have another evolution to some pokemon and plus, some when they evolve the second time, the creature already (in most cases) looks big and looks like evolving would do something to its looks that might look stupid or just plain weird... like if rhyperior had one, what the heck would it look like?

I was hoping aggron had an evo to match rhyperior as both lines looked very similar IMO, just really the type difference
 
I would like one for Politoad, to make a bit more froggy, and could maybe be a water/poison type. I would like one for Beedrill- it could be a gigantic wasp pokemon.
 
I prefer the three-Pokémon lines. They could introduce more split-evolutions, though.
 
what about instead of a third evolution, a special item that activates a fourth body with high stats(something like rotom new forms that have higher stats)

I don't like how it seems like the writers feel the need to mess with older Pokes and give them uneccessary evos. Slowking? I mean come on!

Haha, I don't mind Slowking. But I kind of see your point tho.
 
I cannot think of any Pokémon that would need a forth stage, even the flying bugs (Butterfree, Beedrill, Mothim, Dustox, ect) don't really need one.

I think it would be a very bad idea.
 
Heh, I was just thinking about this...

I'm pretty much fifty-fifty. I'll play the games either way, it's no big deal (even though I have a hard enough time evolving Pokemon twice, let alone three times.) The only Pokemon I'd like to see have a third evolution would be Bellsprout (an evolution for Victreebel). That way it could turn into some hideous, ravenous, carnivorous plant thing with long roots and sharp teeth. Then I could die in peace.
 
I think that if they are going to make a fourth form/third evolution it should only be given to starters.

I want to see a UBER CHARIZARD!:unworthy:
 
Quiet! Do not speak of this any further. Further discussion of the Third Evolution will anger the PokeLords.
