Yo, guys! I'm pretty bored lately, so, could you recommend me some good anime/manga?
May be you favorite only, one a friend told you about, or the one you're watching/reading right now. ('¬')/
Thanks minna-san.

I'm currently reading Rosario + Vampire. It's brilliant. It's got some dodginess in it too which makes it even better. I love the japanese.

Depends on what you're into. Because I can recommend you some, but I wouldn't know if you're into that sort of shows or not. ^^;

I prefer shonen and seinen, I don't reaaaaally like romantic shoujos, and I've never tried jonen.

If you like a good dose of comedy and aren't offended by perversion and/or strong sexual themes, then I can fully recommend GTO, both the anime and manga. I've been watching and reading it lately and I absolutely love it.

Lets see,
-Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei
-Get Backers
-Kiba

Clefable: thanks for the tip! It's really awesome. (^^)
Soundspeed: oh! A friend of mine likes this one! I'll try.
Kiratwig: I love Zetsubou Sensei! (>¬<) I've tried Get Backers before, it didn't look atractive to me =[ , but I've heard good things about this Kiba, I'll sure try it out.

Thanks everybody!!

Go for One Piece. I recently got into it a few months back, and grew obsessed to the point where I'm rapidly catching up with almost 10 years worth of plot. Excellent story, a superb sense of humour, wonderfully quirky characters, lots of tear-jerking backstories and plenty of inventive fight scenes.

I recommend the Japanese versions (with English subtitles) of ALL Seasons of Digimon!

Oh good! ^^ I always wanted to make this thread but could never be bothered! Lots of useless information about my preferences under the spoiler tag:
I have watched and liked:
Shaman King
Cowboy Bebop
Ouran High School Host Club
Slayers
Full Moon wo Sagashite (though upon trying to rewatch it, I found it most dull)

Hated:
Shinseki Evangelion (ugh)
Love Hina

I am really fussy. If you could find something I'd like, it'd be a miracle :p I like good animation and music. If it's really horrendous, in spite of plot, I actually can't watch. I also prefer (though am not limited to) a less cute/chibi art style. It also needs good plot and interesting characters (lovable villains with a happy ending will do though ;-)). If it's too long, I probably wouldn't be bothered.

I am pretty averse to anything too explicit/fanservicy (with nothing else going for it)/shoujo/romantic/robotic, the keyword being too - I can handle small amounts of the above. But I can't take any horror. At all!

Oh and if it's got Megumi Hayashibara in it, or even just singing the OP or something, it's a biiiiiig bonus for me! xD

Death Note - About a teenager who finds a notebook that can kill people and uses it to rid the world of crime. Also contains sexy amounts of L.

Claymore - Female warriors infused with monster DNA to fight monsters.

Dr. Slump - A comedy manga about a scientist who creates a silly robot.

That's all I can think of that I should suggest. I haven't really been reading a lot of manga lately.

I could semi-recommend Tokyo Mew Mew, I guess it's alright, but it's the only anime I've ever watched, so I'm defenitely not an expert on anime.

Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou a.k.a. Cafe Alpha. I'll be mighty surprised if I come across a better manga in my lifetime.

I'll reccomend two!

First is Big Windup (Ookiku Furikabutte in Japanese). Its a baseball anime, but its not like most sports anime. The characters are loveable and I think its just a good show to watch if you have some time. Theres only 25eps too (7 I can find on the internet in English, if you like dubs) Its a bit slow, and theres some shounen-ai hints, in case your not into that.

Seccond is Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro. Its about a demon who solves mysteries in the human world. Its very interesting and moves at a quick pace. Also 25 eps. I think its also kind of funny too. Plus, Neuro's just plain hot.

I've been watching Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood on YouTube with English subtitles. It's much closer to the manga than the 2003 series. There's a bit of overlap, but it's really good. It still tortured me with
the transformation of Nina and the dog
.

Not to mention,
Maes Hughes, NO!!!!!!!!!!!

I recommend:

Sailor Moon
Dragonball
Yu Yu Hakusho
One Piece(not the shitty 4Kids dub, the Funimation dub is way better!)
Kinnikuman
Kinnikuman Nisei(A.K.A Ultimate Muscle)

The only manga I've ever read is the Pokémon special, but that is an excellent one. Everything is a Chekhov's gun!
