There's this game called Summoners War, and I can't stop playing it! It's so good! :boom:

Manga Storm: To read manga with me wherever I go.
Anime Box: It's handy finding wallpapers for my iPod using this app.
Voxer: It's a walkie talkie app! Very handy, plus I can gush over how cute @Kaori;'s voice is.
Line: Another chat app that I use to chat with @Flaze; when he doesn't have internet access or is away. And I have it on my laptop too it's a cool chat client really.
Layton Brothers Mystery Room: I already beat this app but I replay cases sometimes for fun. I mean hell this game really makes you think so I always have a blast with it.

Then there's Tumblr, Youtube, Skype, Jango. And all these are pretty self explanatory.

I haven't really used my iPad that often in recent months due to obtaining my laptop and hitting the storage capacity. However, when I do use my iPad, I mainly use Weekly Shonen Jump, Marvel Comics, Facebook, Twitter, Messaging, Safari and YouTube. Occasionally I'll use Crunchyroll and the Sky+ app (it can be fun to piss people off by changing the channel on the iPad).

FaceBook (and Messaging), Instagram, YouTube, Spotify, Bleacher Report, Chrome, Amazon, Google Maps, and my guilty pleasure, Words with Friends.

I have both an ipod touch and a smartphone so I'll list the ones for each of them xD

On my ipod
Manga Storm, Line, Voxer, Skype, Vine, facebook, tumblr, layton bros, dumb way to die, tomb runner one and 2

On my phone

Whatsapp, facebook, facebook messages, tomb runner 2, google chrome, subway surfer, trivia crack, shinuda anime, line.

Oh, darn. Guess apps on my Nintendo DSi don't count.

As a note as section head, I really don't think it would be unreasonable to extend this topic beyond just phones and tablets - current portable/home consoles and devices like some iPods run apps in a similar way to your run of the mill smartphone or iPad. As long as it's an app, I think it's safe to mention here.

Now, as for myself, the apps I use most consist of:

- Voxer - as Dolce has mentioned, it's handy to speak to her with in realtime without having a call going all the time!
- Chrome - for my obsessive googling needs, mostly, although I also use it to access Facebook's mobile site because I refuse to give them access to my texts by downloading the app.
- WhatsApp - I find it's the easiest and the most commonly used mobile messenger among people I know. I wish everybody I knew used it, to be honest.
- Hangouts - only two people I know use this. Two. But they happen to be among the people I talk to most often who don't/can't use WhatsApp, so it sees a fair bit of use.
- BBC News - simple layout makes it easy to check what's going on in the world when I get a minute.
- Tumblr - giant timesink. Do not download the app even if you have an account. Your productivity will suffer.

On my iPhone:
-I switch between using Apple and Amazon's music apps, depending on which one seems to suck less that day (but they both kinda suck).
-I use some of the default apps--namely Clock (mostly for its alarm feature), Calendar, Weather, and Messages--'cause, well, I have no complaints?
-Gmail, 'cause Apple's mail app is horrible, in my opinion.
-Chrome; Safari has a few significant faults, so it's hard for me to use it.
-Starbucks--I'M A STARBUCKS JUNKIE OKAY, LEAVE ME ALONE.
-Bejeweled Blitz and LYNE are pretty much the only games I play on my phone.
-Feedly, my RSS feeder on-the-go.

I also use "apps" in Google Chrome via the Chrome App Launcher, but like... they're not really apps, they're pretty much bookmarks. XD

I really enjoy apps, omg! I use the following apps constantly:

- Reddit is Fun Golden Platinum
- Kik
- Google+
- Talon (Twitter)
- Google Play Music
- Waze
- Gmail
- Chrome
- Feedly
- AndChat (<3 great for IRC!)
- Bowling Scorekeeper
- Goodbudget (gotta keep my money together)
- Moon+ Reader Pro (<3 love reading)
- Tumblr (J-Law gifs)
- Titanium Backup (can't go without this)
- Xposed Framework (<33 so awesome)
- LMT Launcher (PIE controls)

And so many more omg :x I'm obsessed.

I don't have that many apps on my phone. Let's see;

Whatsapp (free texting basically)
Youtube (most used)
Snapchat (don't use it much but like receiving pics)
SongPop (fun to play with friends)
Draw Something (fun to play with friends)
FireFox (better than my default browser)

Those are about the only ones I rate.

The novelty of using and having a lot of apps on your phone decreases after a while of owning one.
I remember when I first got an iPod (and then iPhone), a few years ago I was all over it with games and apps, because I had never owned something so advanced before (my phone at that time was a really crappy barely smart 'smartphone').
Now I'm just like... eh :/

For me, the apps I use the most:

Instagram: I spend too much time on this
Tumblr: I'm not on it as much as other people, some times only once a week or less :p
Instabot: ...I'm a creeper...:sweatlol:
Japanese: best paid app, ever.
MyFitnessPal: super-important; on it just about every day, multiple times
