Oh yeah and i have a burning hatred for My Little Pony
Yeah, the designs are really ugly and don't get me started on the expressions. Though, Equestria Girls was good.

It's not that I actively dislike it, and there are a few things I like from it, but I've never been a huge Star Wars fan. And I would even say I've always been a bit befuddled by its massive popularity. Mainly because I didn't grow up with it at all, but I also just don't find its outings that compelling. Yes even the original trilogy, which is just fine IMO (and they're definitely not amongst the greatest movies of all time). Other movies and tv series in the franchise I would range from just ok, to mildly entertaining, to downright terrible. The prequel revisionism from recent years is downright baffling to me, those 3 movies are a dumpster fire in virtually every way to me.

I'm also not a huge shonen anime fan. There's some that are OK to me, but I find some other anime genres far more interesting for the most part.

Soccer is not a subject I particularly like, especially since most of my coworkers are into the sport. But that's okay since they talk about it in a positive light.
On the topic of sports, I… don’t really like any of them. I just find the rules too confusing for me.

All of the spindelhorse shows, and somehow both my partners like it.
All the hoyoverse games, i used to love Genshin and ZZZ then i realized, hey…these games suck!
Sonic.exe ESPECIALLY THE ROBLOX GAMES AND FNF MODS.
Most FNF mods it seems.
Dangonrompa.

i feel like i'm the exact kinda person Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss are marketing to being a gay tumblr kid who enjoys cringe media, but i just cannot get into these shows for the life of me with the shows flaws being pretty strong turn offs for me. If you like the shows then more power to you im not gonna bother you over it but its definitely not my cup of tea.

I dont like Game of Thrones aside from Fire and Blood(House of the Dragon). Theres way too many storylines to keep track of and George R.R.Martin is just literally not going to finish the series. The world seems interesting but it just seems too difficult for him to tie it all together and end it.

everything i know about both of those series is they seem catered exactly to immature teenagers who think that swearing and sex stuff = for adults

Throwing my hat into the ring and agreeing with Vocaloid and Vivziepop's Stuff, don't get it at all.

I feel like a lot of things I "Don't Understand" why people like involve some form of like, the product/company/whatever is, Doing Something Generally Frowned Upon, and to me that is enough to dislike it or judge it or whatever, and, I extend that to other people- It's a mistake that seems to keep occurring, me having too much faith in others.

Examples:
Overwatch, and Blizzard in general. Do not understand why people continue to play Blizzard games despite all the news about what happens and has happened at their studios.
Same can be said for Riot Games, and I guess more specifically League of Legends and Arcane. Any time I've like been in a voicecall with people who are playing League they sound MISERABLE. People I've never heard even slightly frustrated just completely blowing their tops at teammates or whatever.
Gachas in general, but the biggest offenders (and where my confusion comes from most) is Cygames & Hoyo. Games designed specifically to drain people of their money and promote gambling, Hoyo doing stuff like getting rid of story in Starrail specifically so people can go back to the Gacha- and I am absolutely baffled as to why Uma Musame has exploded like it has.
This also extends to Harry Potter for reasons that should be obvious, but, for some reason people excuse Five Nights at Freddy's and Smiling Friends despite them being in the exact same boat as Harry Potter. I really get completely confused seeing fellow queer people (rightfully) judging people for continuing to support Harry Potter, but then immediately turn around and start talking about FNAF or Smiling Friends when their creators are people who see eye to eye with Rowling. Also Roblox.

Outside of "You are giving money to people/corps who are making lives worse" I can, for the most part, just accept if I don't understand why people like something, then its likely just not for me. Like Object Shows, completely baffling existence to me. But y'know I like Skylanders, which is probably baffling to others.

Dis(?)honourable(?) mention goes to Bloons 6? It's free on Epic rn and has Multiplayer so my girlfriend wanted to try it last night, and like, as a game its fine, I had fun with her. But oh my god. I would not pay for it ever. It is a 40$ mobile game. Microtransactions for in-game currencies and power-up packs and spending money to unlock every upgrade for the monkeys and getting exp and your account leveling up by playing like- why!?

I’m going to list franchises that I do not like rather than those I do not care for. There are lots of things that are popular that I can’t get into, no matter how hard I force myself to like it.

I don’t like Roblox or Fortnite. I tried to get into the former but I just don’t have the time to dedicate to games I’m not interested in. I barely have time for the games I am interested in, like Mario Kart.

I’m not a fan of pretty much any book series because I don’t like to read. Dog Man is cool, but the books didn’t release until after I graduated so I didn’t get to grow up with them. I did, however, see the movie.

Stranger Things. Overrated
Squid Game. Overrated
GTA franchise. Overrated
Legend of Zelda franchise. Overrated
Splatoon. It's a shooter technically. No thanks.
Soulslikes. To fucking hard. For me
Rougelites and Rougelikes. To fucking hard. For me.
I used to be an MLP fan. Then they shoved Starlight Glimmer down my throat and now I'm a stark anti-brony
Gravity Falls. Wasn't interested in the slightest.

Honestly I could probably go all day. Small list.

I have a massive dislike for MLP not because of the show itself but because of bronies and their behavior. Stuff like how they'd get super upset when people told them to not post their NSFW fan art in places where minors (like me at the time) could stumble upon it or how large fansites refused to make it clear that Nazi bronies are absolutely not allowed there (Derpibooru, I believe that's what it's called, banned Nazi-themed MLP fan art and then after people got upset with this decision instead of making the right choice and telling them to fuck off because they do not want fan art of these characters wearing friggin Nazi uniforms or with swastika cutie marks or whatever, they instead responded be reallowing that kinda art but just making it so the tags for that type of content is hidden by default so you have to be logged-in and unhide those tags to see it).

Well what do you expect from a fandom that arose on friggin 4chan, y'know? Completely ruined the show for me (although I was already kinda getting bored of it after a couple seasons anyway but bronies and their behavior ruined those good memories of the parts I liked).

I remember getting told by someone they didnt trust me cause I wasnt a fan. Listen thats just not appropriate. Everyone has their own interests. I remember not being interested, the fandom was just way too much. its fine to like stuff, but not ok to do things like that. Way way too far,you cant make someone like something. Id never try and make someone like a piece of media I do and be manipulative.

Pretty much every popular M-rated video game series, almost all of them are massively overrated in my opinion.

Outside of that, I've also never particularly cared for Splatoon or Animal Crossing. They aren't really my kind of thing.

Hunter x Hunter (2011)
My Hero Academia
Bleach
Pornstaches
Ripped Skinny Jeans (Men's)

I tried watching all 3 of them and could not understand the hype.
