I was wondering if there is a rule against having custom pages for my trade/want lists on my blog. I know there are is an area to make a thread specifically for this purpose, but they get closed if there is no activity within a week or something like that?

I'm not a very hardcore player and my list of Pokemon for trade could easily go a week without being updated. Is it okay to have a custom page for this? I hope so. Please let me know. I'm trying hard to not break any rules, there seem to be so many. :sweatlol:

Thanks so much in advance for taking the time to answer my question! :unworthy:

As far as I can tell, you can do anything in your blog that doesn't violate the overall rules of the site. So I think you could create a custom page for your trade/wants list.

I was actually halfway done with them, but today I saw this thread (see point 5.) So I'm not sure. I understand I can't post this as a blog post, but I don't know if custom pages count.

Stupid me, I should have asked this question there. :uhoh: I'm sorry if this is breaking a rule, if so, could a mod kindly move my question to that thread?

All regular blog rules apply.

So then, it's a no? Because I just want a place to basically list all the Pokemon I own, regardless of whether I want to trade them or not. What is the harm in using a custom page for this? I don't understand... I wouldn't make blog posts about it and modify them all the time. Just a custom page.

Would simply placing a link to such a list hosted somewhere else within a custom page be against the rules as well? :-(

Please take the age of this thread into consideration in writing your reply. Depending on what exactly you wanted to say, you may want to consider if it would be better to post a new thread instead.
