What are your favourite ever moments in the Pokemon anime?

What are your favourite ever moments in the Pokemon anime? And by this, I mean out of all 14 years, all 4 series, and the whole series in general.

One of my favourite ever moments was the Sinnoh league. Throughout the entire league, each episode got me excited and I just couldn't wait for the next episode to air. In particular, my favourite bit from the Sinnoh league were when all that was left between Ash and Paul were Infernape and Electivire, and Infernape had a crowning moment of awesome, and finally defeated Paul after all the trouble it had with him in the past.

Another of my favourite moments would be the battle between Ash and May at the end of the AG series. As it was the last two episodes of the entire AG series, and it was what the four years beforehand had built up to, the battle had to be epic- and for me, it was. Sceptile and Blaziken were having a huge battle, and AG191/EP467 ended with a gripping cliffhanger- there was an explosion that was caused by Solar Beam and Overheat, and no-one knew who the winner was.

Pretty much any moment when Musashi freaks out. Her "battle" against Habunake and her freaking out on Hikari when she lost to her in the Grand Festival floor me every time!

I also seem to like moments when the anime experiments on different things. In DP, we have Satoshi fighting against his first Pokémon as well as Hikari having a Gym Battle. More recently in BW we have Nyasu joining Saotshi and co. for a few episodes. These moments really spice up the anime and I hope we have more entertaining plot twists in the future.

Ash vs Drake (Orange League), Gary, and both of his full battles with Paul. Also Blaziken vs Charizard. I thought that battle was one of the most exciting of the series. 2 powerful fire types battling eachother with everything they've got. Dragon Rage, Blaze Kick, Flamethrower, etc. It was all on the line. Old vs New. Gen 1 vs Gen 3. Haha, it was a masterpiece.

I really enjoy all the league related battles (including Ash vs Drake), and any time Ash challenges an elite 4 member. (even though he always gets his butt kicked)

Burgundy and Cilan's Connoiseur duel during the Don Battle. Seeing Burgundy so unsure made her even more sympathetic, and Cilan's politeness towards her was just so sqeet.

My favorite moment was when Stunfisk electrocuted Oshawott. :3c

One moment that's etched itself into my mind is at the end of the Johto Saga, when Ash, Brock, and Misty go their separate ways. And also when Ash said goodbye to Butterfree. I'm sure I can come up with more moments, but my mind's hit a blank spot.

I loved that episode too. Seeing Ash and James dressed as aubergines and Wobbuffet and Meowth crossdressing made me laugh back when it first aired.

That whole episode was a favorite moment, actually. Moe moe de kanji desu~!

MASSIVE FANBOY ATTACK - BW006​

I'm crude, I'm obsessive, I'm shallow. So this moment was like, the defining moment of Dento for me? Yeah, pretty much. There's no way I could've escaped from his charm after that. I'm really surprised they characterized him like that off the bat (actually, it's MamoMiya, so I'm not incredibly shocked) but it was funny, cute, and slightly creepy. Three great things for what would be, to me, the start of a beautiful relationship

"Go and be with the one you love! - DP073​

When this episode first aired, I watched this scene like three times and I still cried. I'm glad that they incorporated yet another layer into Jessie's backstory. It really pulled at your heartstrings even though we didn't get to see many Dustox/Jessie moments. We knew that Jessie was a romantic, but I guess this was one of the first times we got to see how genuine she really was about it. The announcer at the end was spot on, gambatte, Musashi

"Let's battle again!" - DP188​

Yeah, this shouldn't be a surprise for anyone who knows me. The epitome of the entire series for me. I'll admit, it could have been shippier had they incorporated the soothe bells (yes, I'm still sore about that, lol), but it was definitely handled in a way that made me elated beyond belief.

It was that moment where Paul let down his guard and was genuinely surprised that Ash wanted to continue their relationship beyond this one arc that really got me, I think. Reminded me of all the trials they had to go through to get to that single point, and how satisfying it was to see it wrap up that way. A lot of people see this as the end of a chapter, but I'd like to think that their bond transcends regions and will culminate to something even greater in the future.

And no, not just in a homoerotic fashion either

My favourite Pokemon anime moment was also in the Sinnoh League. It was when Pikachu countered Latios's Luster Purge with Volt Tackle then countered with Iron Tail at the last moment ending up with both of them fainting. It was so epic. I remember watching it for the first time and being blown away by how epic that was.
