It doesn't matter if its a Trainer or a Pokemon Any Oc that you've created. describe your oc and how you came up with it/them

I've got quite a few actually, from my Jim trilogy.

I based Jim off of Hilbert, originally, but later on decided to only keep Hilbert's friendship with Cheren and Bianca constant about the character. He's 16 when the story begin, loyal, humble, and shares N's ability to communicate with Pokemon.

His traveling companion, Leanne, shares similarities with my actual girlfriend. Both are upbeat and friendly, and know how to lift their friends' spirits.

I have a lot of Pokemon characters in the story, but the two that are the most prevalent are June and Oshawott.

June is Jim's Snivy. She's calm, wise, has a rather dry sense of humor, but still possesses a good heart and maternal instinct.

Oshawott is Leanne's partner. He's bold, charismatic, and eloquent. Jim even describes him as something out of Shakespeare.

I've realized that a lot of my best characters are usually based off of myself (or a character similar to myself). Like when I was 11, I made up a Pokemon OC called Lilith. She was passive-aggressive, hot-headed, but really misunderstood, because that's kind of how I felt as an 11 year old. All my teachers said I was being passive-aggressive, I didn't have any friends, but I also felt pretty misunderstood. I made her up when listening to either a Linkin Park or Rise Against song while I was trying to think of a kind of character you don't see often in the fandom.

Skip two years ahead (made it past my really early angsty phase), and I have a Sonic OC named River, who I think is the best OC I have ever made so far. She's not exactly a persona, but she does have some of my personality traits, my interests, and my fears. But I also gave her some traits that are opposite of mine, like having Achluophobia, being more outgoing, having her favorite food be something I would never eat on a daily basis, etc. I made her up when I was running out of original badass ideas, and I thought "instead of making them overly badass and god-like, why not just have them act and be casual?"

Oh, I've got dozens of OCs. Literally. Most of them are for my Fire Emblem stories. I'll just talk about the most important ones though. From Fire Emblem, they would be Azura, Bryan, and Leyon, the main characters of my fic FE: Dawn of Darkness. All three have some part of my soul poured into them.

Azura is my tougher side. The side that wants to stand up for herself and show that she's not a weak little girl just because of what she looks like or because she's a girl. Like me, Azura believes that women are equal to men and can do many things just as well as they can. And that they can be strong. She's also the side of me that hates most bugs. xP

Bryan is my more sensitive side. I was bullied most of my childhood and so was he. He also looks a bit young just like I do. He's also the side of me that just wants to be liked and appreciated by plenty of others.

Leyon doesn't quite have as much of my soul poured into him as the other two do, but he's my pairing nut side. He's a real cupid that likes trying to get people together. lol And of course, he's the side of me that longs for a close relationship with a special someone.

My most important OCs from The Legend of Zelda are Kelli and Judo. Kelli is Link's partner in my current fic The Legend of Zelda: The Ancient Power. She's got both some of my toughness and some of my sensitivity. She's a warrior through and through that has excellent sword skills, but she's very worried and breaks down into tears over how her best friend, Judo, has been missing.

Judo himself hasn't appeared yet, but he will in the sequel and he'll be quite important. I've also foreshadowed that he's Kelli's love interest.

In my fics, 98-99% of my characters are OCs (And considering the fact that the fic I'm working on now is split up into 4 stories and 2 side fics, that means I have LOTS of characters...), this is because I don't like using Canon Characters, due to the fact that they tend to be static and hard to be flexible with. You have to stick with their personalities and traits 24/7, and if you don't, you derail their character and ruin them, leading to a bad fic. OCs are more flexible and you can make them change and adapt to suit your needs. But more on topic; When I make an OC, I basically do this;
*Take a few characters from various sources
*Separate a few traits and features I like
*Put them onto my new character, give them a fitting name and create a mental backstory for them.

An example of this would be my main character, Lucas, from the first book of my trilogy. I first took some characters I liked: Roxas and Sora from KH, Edward Elric from FMA, Sonic and the PC from PMD:Explorers. I then singled out some aspects from each of them I thought would be good: Sora's personality, Roxas's looks, Edward's Genius, Sonic's boldness and the PC's musing inner thought process. Once I did, I put them together and gave him a name: Lucas, which I chose not only for it's meaning but also because it was the name of the Male protagonist of both Daimond, my first Pokemon game, and also Mother 3, one of my favorite GBA games.

When I'm making a name, I like to use puns and wordplay to give a representation of how that character is. For Lucas's partner in the PMD books, Red, I gave him the full name "Aiden Bellows", both of which are puns, as Aiden means fire, and Bellows refers to the tool used to fan the flames in a forge. For one of the human characters, I gave them the name Kai, which can mean sea or ocean in Japanese, this is because he is a Water-type trainer.

Icira Witherflame (Pokémon, The Elder Scrolls)
Many, many years ago, I was entertaining the idea of writing an anime-based fanfic in an episodic format. One of the "episodes" involved Misty being used to test human cloning technologies, resulting in a clone named "Mitzie" who would have gone on to join the main cast. Later, I renamed her "Icie" (ice being the opposite of mist) and rewrote her episode to kill her off at the end. Then I decided to bring her back even later as the main villain. Thus, I gave her the surname "Witherflame" (to contrast with Misty's commonly-accepted fanon surname, "Waterflower") and expanded her given name to the slightly more dignified "Icira".

Though the fanfic has long since been scrapped, I kept the character in mind. These days, while I usually cast her as an affable villain, she can really play any role I need her to—in her Elder Scrolls incarnation, she actually serves as one of the more benevolent characters, even having a somewhat friendlier disposition than my main Elder Scrolls OC.

Colin Sonan (Pokémon)
Hoo boy, this one has a complicated history. Let me see....

For some time, I had been thinking about hosting some kind of marathon battle with some friends against all of my games from Generations I through IV. Now, even though that would have been a total of eighteen games (counting Colosseum and XD: Gale of Darkness), I only had fourteen characters because I recycled some of them from game to game. My Diamond Version character was named "Twilite" (to contrast with his pseudo-rival Dawn; I swear I hadn't heard of the movie or book at that point) and would have served as the "Champion".

Later on, I tried incorporating these characters into unreleased fanfiction as the "Forgotten Fourteen". Each character was given a surname, with Twilite receiving the surname "Sonan" (a corruption of the word "sundown"). Sometime after that, I split "Twilite" and "Sonan" into separate characters, with the latter becoming the head of a morally-ambiguous organization and the former remaining the leader of the Forgotten Fourteen, as well as having his name respelled to the correct "Twilight".

I then decided I wanted Sonan and Icira to have some sort of past. But how would that work? Were they former business partners? Lovers? Or, perhaps....siblings?

It was then that I decided to make Sonan another clone, sharing his base DNA with Icira. Consequently, he received the given name "Colin", a corruption of "clone", and was made the adopted son of the project's head scientist.

Much later, as a "shocking twist", I made it turn out that Colin and Twilight were the same person after all, and he was playing both sides for a higher cause. In this form, Colin was intended to be intelligent, strategic and charismatic, but still human with flaws. This would have come to a head when, without time to consider all his options, he was ultimately forced to kill his own sister to save the protagonists.

As stated above, this fic was scrapped before it got very far. Nevertheless, I kept the characters in mind, which came in handy toward the end of 2009, when the Knight Pokémon University RPG opened on these forums. Aging Colin backwards from twenty-nine to a more college-appropriate eighteen, I reused him in the game, and an angsty trainer with a secret past was born. The "Twilight" alias eventually fell by the wayside, and will not be mentioned in the YouTube adaptation.

Pop/Rock Band "Eye Candy"—Joanie Aimes, Collie Calloway, Annie Jameson and Bella Austin (Pokémon)
Now this is an interesting case. All four of these girls started off in Knight Pokémon University as white knockoffs of the Greek chorus from Little Shop of Horrors, with their appearance being based on Beauties from the Hoenn-based games. They were nameless NPCs without much personality, mainly serving to randomly appear and break into song at appropriate (or not) times.

Soon, I decided to give them names referencing other people's characters, with the idea that the girls would occasionally torment those characters somehow. I eventually grew to like them so much that I wanted to have Colin temporarily leave the game so the designated "leader", Joanie, could take his place as my main player character for a while. Growing impatient, I obtained permission to upgrade her early, resulting in a brother-sister dynamic between the two characters that I don't think Colin would have lasted much longer without.

From that point, all four of the girls started to accumulate distinctive personalities, fully thought-out backstories and even specific birth dates. Joanie became the kind of person I'd love to have for a sister, Annie turned into a tech geek, Bella gained a secret past that rendered her shy but deadly, and Collie....well, at the time the game was running, I still hadn't really settled on a good personality for her, but now she's a hard drinker who's a lot of fun at parties. They remain some of my favorite OCs, and I'm not likely to drop them anytime soon.

Willis ra Teremolve/Wilkinson "Will" Xalrons, Jr. (RuneScape, The Elder Scrolls, Pokémon)
Originally based on my RuneScape avatar, Willis' most current incarnation inhabits the Elder Scrolls universe as a battlemage with a long-standing grudge. His story is a highly-exaggerated version of something that happened to me, which is better explained in the next character's section. I'm also using him and a modified version of said backstory in an IRC Pokémon RP.

Kr'ohr gro-Lestim/Mark Mitchell (The Elder Scrolls, Pokémon)
An Orc battlemage with a thirst for demonic power, who was once a mentor to Willis and his sister Emma until they discovered his secret. He met them in combat and soundly slew Emma, while Willis only escaped through the intervention of Icira Witherflame. In his Pokémon incarnation, he is instead a Pokémon trainer dabbling in Shadowfication, and Will is saved by his Gardevoir.

Kr'ohr/Mark is based on my old fencing instructor who, while not evil per se, is responsible for destroying my friendship with someone I'd have been glad to call my little sister. The story is not one that need be discussed in detail here.

i honestly dont even remember how i came up with taylor duncan i just

one day i was sitting in my room and then i was like "what would be a good name for a guy thats really fuckin gullible and hes so gullible that he makes a deal with the devil thinking he speaks the truth" and then i came up with that name and that folks is how my whole writing career went downhill.

as for my wolf characters they were all based on people i knew in real life and certain personalities i saw that struck my fancy.

I have a lot of OCs. I don't do anything with them other than make up stories about them when playing games or planning fics I'll never write. I just try to think of realistic personalities. They're not like me at all for the most part. The OC of the fic I want to write at some point for example, she really different from me and I doubt we'd have much in common in person. I'm much more like her (also an OC) best friend.

My ocs hmmm. Well, a lot of my characters I come up with on the spot. But there are a few that are quite developed.

Right now I have three main ocs silver, north and blade.

North is based almost entirely on me although his current iteration is the result of a split and the coming of Gen five. He is a Dewott right now but before Gen five he was a grovyle. I came up with north because I wanted to write a Pokemon fan fiction. I was unsure of what I should do so I wrote about myself and chose what was at the time my favorite Pokemon. Now north is a dewott. Absol is.my.favorite Pokemon but I have always seen absolis as more feminine Pokemon. Which brings me to...

Silver. Silver is my absol character. Absols are my favorite Pokemon and I decided I needed an absol character. Enter silver. Silver was also a result of my need for a female character and a main character that was not based on me. Silver turned out to be the best candidate for it as absolis are while misunderstood are good hearted Pokemon trying to help people through their ability of being able to sense disasters so silver being a good hearted Pokemon turned out to be very good for the hero.

My third main character is blade. Blade is the result of my changing interests and a need of a villain. Blade is probably my most developed character and also my most disturbing character. He is the result of every dark thought that has ever crossed a human mind, every feeling of hatred felt through the ages, all of the greed and all of the destruction. He is the physical embodiment of evil. If thereis anything evil you can think of then he has done it. his personality draws from sources like Moriarty and other cold calculating villains. He is especially dangerous due to his lack of anger. He is always calm and can seem even friendly at times but behind everything he is plotting your death. This is what makes him the perfect villain. He does not draw out the deaths of his victims but instead ends it quickly. He believes that the longer it takes his victims lives to end the better the chance that he will be caught. This is what makes him the perfect villain. Incompetence.is not in his dictionary, room for error is non existent, and his capacity of evil knows no bounds. He is the dark side of me, the perfectionest, and the evil. His inspiration is all that is evil.

Okay, so like I have a whole buttload of original characters for all kinds of crap, whether it be a comic, a story, a small project or a roleplay.

I create these characters on a whim like, "Oh, this sounds like a good idea for a character" and then bam it happens.

For example some of my characters:
The Puppeteer (some OFF fancomic thing I'm planning)
Puppeteer was created after my first playthrough of OFF when I decided it would be cool if I tried making a let's play-esque comic, but didn't want to be self-inserty.*
The Puppeteer assumes the role that the player assumes, the guide of a strange man named The Batter, man on a "holy mission to purify the world". I made the Puppeteer a nameless, genderless being because of the choices at the beginning of the game never being chose for them, thus resulting in a full case of amnesia to the extreme of where they don't know what they are or were, or even if they existed prior to being the guide to The Batter. I've never decided a single thing about them so they will probably stay anonymous until the end of their journey, or, not even then.

Amitola Johnson//Tyrone McGaffi//Bobbert Birch(from my Nuzlocke-verse/multiverse, specifically a Sapphire Nuzlocke and a Sierra (a hack) Nuzlocke):

Ami is the protagonist of my Nuzlocke. I made her to be extremely different then the player character. The only thing she has in common with the player character is that both are aiming to take on the Pokemon League to get into their respective learning facilities they were unable to get into simply by grades alone, with Ami aiming to get into Pallet*
University after she did not meet qualifications to get in after graduating at the age of eighteen as opposed to the player character aiming to get into the Pokemon Trainer Academy, which doesn't even exist in my rendition of the story. Also she wasn't living with her parents, she got kicked out for preference conflicts (she's gay) and was living at her friend's house until he left for college at Pallet, who apparently was able to get in despite being an alcoholic goofball.
And *gasp* if the overall plot arc becomes a thing, she isn't the "chosen one", like the hack seems to point out that the player character is. Merely the friend of the "chosen one" that she has to save from becoming a sacrifice at one point. :y

Tyrone is the goofball friend of Ami who is lucky or really just smart enough to get into Pallet university. He was supposed to be the rival but I'm writing him out of being that until much later. He travels outside of the floating landmass that his region over to the floating landmass that is the Kanto region. He was currently living by himself as his parents were going on year long cruise around the world on a skyliner (flying steampunk cruise ship, go figure) and allowed his best friend live with him until she either found a new home or went to the same college they both hoped they could get into. Most of the times The rival shows up in game, he won't, because the whole premise of him leaving for the academy ingame despite him keep showing up anyway. And, technically you get three rivals, one of which I have not put much thought into, so taking one out shouldn't be too bad. Most of the time he shows up, it might have relation to giving some exposition to the world around or characters that may or may not show up in other projects.

Bobbert Birch is the son of Professor Birch, an environmental scientist who's main study involves the state of the world being mainly populated by floating continents and why Hoenn was the only continent still tethered to the earth. To help his studies, Bert, after traveling his homeland and challenging the league there, whether failed or successful, goes is sent to the regions in the sky to study them, and at the time, is in the same region as the two friends who part on their college-related journeys, and gets accidentally involved in their shenanigans

Derrick Blakeson//Bianca "Belle" Lauren//Cheren Icah//Nathaniel "N" "Harmonia" (from the same Nuzlocke-verse as Ami and many other characters, specifically from a Black-Black2 prequelsequellocke):
Derrick is the character in the place of Hilbert/the black 2 player character in the Unova region, who, at first resembled Hilbert at first before I changed his appearance quite a bit.
He's a young man that seems to possess the powers of time manipulation, though he is only able to use his power of a future sight of sorts until he trains himself. He goes on a journey with his childhood friends across the country. While they were planning to challenge the gyms, he would search for or find info about his father, who's been missing since he was a toddler. He eventually takes on the gym challenge after Cheren and "Belle" kept calling him a chicken and less pleasant things for not taking it with them. Aaand he's just lucky enough to get involved with an extremist animal rights group who would go as far as beating someone to death for owning a Pokemon. Fun. He and his friends deal with their bullcrap the majority of their journey.

Bianca Lauren, or Belle, as she likes to be called, is my interpretation of Bianca from canon. She ran away from home to get away from her alcoholic, abusive father and so she could travel with her best friends. Unlike her canon character (And quite a few fan interpretations) she's actually kind of smart and quick witted, and, well, is sort of a tomboy. She can also handle herself in a fight if it came down to it, as she was taught in MMA style fighting from her mom before she got divorced with Mr. Lauren and couldn't get custody of her daughter. Her goal for the journey with her friends is to win the league and even the elite four to prove that she is stronger than what her dad and everybody else thinks she is. Well, everyone besides Cheren and Derrick, they know she's strong; she's kicked both of their cans more often than not.

Cheren Icha is like Belle, my alternate interpretation of *his canon character. He's not that different from his canon self, but he is not a carbon copy. He used to be a snob when he was little, being the son of one of the most powerful women of the world and champion of a nearby region, but he warmed up to his two new friends, and eventually mellowed out since he moved from the big city to the rural area of Unova with his father. He also has a bit of a sailor's mouth on him and finds it difficult to go a full conversation without letting out quite a few swears. The goal of his journey is to challenge the league and challenge the elite four because he thinks it will make his mother proud.

Nathaniel is my very different interpretation of N.*
Nathaniel, unlike most humans, is not from the Pokemon world at all, but rather, a world much similar to ours. But, he was only a few years old after shenanigans happened and a tear in reality that he fell into sent him into the Pokemon world. Since then, after being found by a few scientist on the case of figuring out why time-space tears were happening in a specific area on the planet, and he was used as a lab rat, in a sense, using him at a young age to test genetic-altering medicines on him before distributing them to the public. They made sure to wash these medicines out of him, though the effects of all of them never went away. Mainly, Alistar's All-Language brew, which, allowed him to be fluid in nearly every language known, even the tongue of animal and Pokemon alike, but it left him with a speech disorder where his words leave his lips faster than his brain can process, usually leaving him stuttering and rambling when trying to have a conversation. When the time came, they more or less disposed of him, using a powerful psychic type Pokemon to wipe his mind. An older man and his sickly wife adopted him when they found him on the streets and Ever since then, he was known as Nathaniel Harmonia. The events from his childhood left him a little paranoid, but he is really a nice kid. He can be gullible though, enough to follow the newly formed animal rights movement started by his adopted father, until he saw that they were really corrupt and ran away. He eventually meets the trio of friends and becomes a friend to them as well.

Several Harpy characters of mine (original works, as well as Homestuck):
I based all of them on various species of birds (duh) and the traits of these birds, or various Native American tales, such as Opechay, a harpy with features from robins originated from the story of how the first robin came to be, where a young man named Opeechee/Opichi had to fast for weeks to become strong and so that his spirit animal would show themselves to him. His spirit animal did come to him alright, much before, when the boy was starving, and offered him the choice of escaping his father by becoming a bird and he transformed into a robin. And many more.

Several Fantrolls and Fanhumans (Homestuck and several role-plays relating):
For Carast Tigisk, the first fancharacter I ever really had really, I wanted to make a character that was original. Like, everybody and their sister made a cattroll, a dog/wolftroll and more out the wizoo, so I turned to the Native American zodiac and made a troll based on otters, down to having hands and feet mutated, being webbed. And so on and so on I have like ten fantrolls, each one I tried to make unique, from a solemn and gentle giant, a trigger-happy pyrotechnic with PTSD and etc.

For humans, I have a whole group of them based on country stereotypes and then went against them for their characters. What? A country music artist? Some kid from North Dakota being a redneck wannabe who travels around America. A farmer? Some kid who had to take his father's job after he went senile. And so on. And I do have quite a lot of characters I just think up on a whim in this case, but, that's like a sample of a whole cast of characters.
And probably a lot more characters but ain't no one got time for me to keep rambling about them so I'll stop here uvu;

My OCs right now are twins named Lily and Amy, who are part Espeon and Umbreon respectively. They're twins, but because of their differing DNA they have different personalities and hair and eye color.

They were inspired by me and my brother. I'm Lily. My brother doesn't know he's Amy and I don't intend to tell him.

And yes, their names came from Leela and Amy on Futurama.

I'm writing a story set in an alternate universe with the Trio seeing what life would be like if they had taken a different path. I'm having a problem with deciding what to do with Jessie... Anyway I made an OC to marry James since he wouldn't be engaged to Jessibelle.

Her name is between Maribelle or Isabelle. She has dark green hair, a little pudgy, and generally a damsel and distress type compared to Jessibelle.

I have a lot but a few that are the main characters of my story:

Jackie Anima: He actually came to me in a dream, albeit not in a pokemon one, but still. He came to me as an adventurer, and the name just came to mind while I was awake. I think he slightly was influenced by Jack Walker.

Midori Koutetsuban: She is actually based off the heroine in Pokemon Conquest, and I literally named my character Midori in my game.

Julian Akatsuki: I have no idea where he came from. I literally can't remember. However I know that he's been in creation for a long time and has become more complex as time as gone on.

Robin Morgan: His appearance comes from a possible avatar appearance in FE: Awakening. I think I created him by just wanting to make a cheerful laid back character that is sickly, but he actually has become more complicated since then. Also the fact that I wanted to create an artist.

Rafe Seraph: I had an idea with vampires and angels and he was originally a side character that pretty much stood there stoic and the perfect warrior. Ironic that he has become a favorite oc since then and changed so much to have a complicated history and personality.

Kaori Revoluto/Ballista/Bazukai: One of my first ocs. He was originally created as a Naruto character, the son of Hana and Itachi to be exact, and his now sister was his cousin, daughter of Kiba.Since then he has become a favorite of mine due to be an already complicated character upon creation. One of my favorite creations.

Kuro Wolf: Created for a vampire-werewolf idea I had, along with Sicilia, however Kuro is used more and loved more. He is so sadistic and carefree yet a sad history that I've come to adore his character and find the way he acts to be just fun to write.

Ace Phoenix: Another recent creation. He was created as a human form of a Phoenix, after a character I have for a future story I hope will become a book one day. He gained a personality different from his phoenix form and a very interesting history that is very unique to his character out of all of my ocs.

Junine Ikadoshi: My first and favorite oc. Created for Naruto specifically to ship with Kakashi, she has changed so much since my first creation of her. From her appearance, to personality. The only constant with her is what happened to her family, and her brother Hakudoshi.

For oc Pokemon the only ones that really have been thought out to an extent is

Emerald: Junine's snivy. Created well for a reason I forgot. Originally Junine was paired with a charmander though as she changed, she needed a change in pokemon and when I liked snivy, it became the perfect partner due to its reptilian appearance that wasn't like the other grass types.

Not putting down names, but the characters in my story are based off my personality. Over the years I gave them a name, a face and I'm trying to differentiate them through the world I put them in. The main antagonist is based off my Fear. Close to Fear is followed closely by Complacency. These two alone cannot get anywhere unless pushed by either Hope or Deceit, both of which offer "something better" in the future. It isn't until Togetherness and Pride make the scene that Hope gets a foothold over Deceit, but Deceit has agents of its own in the form of Loneliness who seeks to consume Fear.

Well my oc, is my username: Walter Wattson, well the full name is Walter Wattson III (the third). I came up with him in a series of books on, lol, government corruption. He was a philosopher who equaled out the power of the government. Soon, he just became a part of me. I started to put him in so many different books and comics I wrote, even a Pokémon book that I only shared with my friends. Walter Wattson will forever be my favorite oc.

Well, in my old Pokemon\Simpson-type fanfiction (either Bart does a Pokèmon journey, Pokèmon exist in the Simpson universe and they go in a digital world, Bart lives in Saffron with a few other people and does adventures against Burns and his team of masked gym leaders, or Bart falls in love with a 16-years-old Japanese Idol and goes to live in Japan plus Milhouse is ambiguosly gay for some reason)

Bart, Lisa, Milhouse, and Maggie: Just the Simpson characters, but made anime-style. And possibly a few years older.
Deli: Basically a Mary-Sue\Angel\cloud princess version of Lisa Simpson- which also ages very fast until she hits a 14-year-old look, is a punk motorbike rider, and has a magical pet that looks quite like a light blue sparkly Furret with Fairly Oddparents-style wings. And she hatched from an egg. I just wanted to make a teenage "sixth Simpson member" and make the family a little more special.
Mark Strickson-Lenders: I just made him up to be Deli s' 15-year-old dark green haired also-a-motorbike-rider boyfriend, because people have to be in straight relationships of course. Based on your typical tough-guy-looking b**turd character. IIRC his name has been Mark since 2005, but his last name might have changed a lot. I remember a phase when he was Lenders or something, like the dub name of Kojiro Hyuga from Holly & Benji. Just a few minutes ago i also remembered he could be Mark Strickson too, like the actor playing Vislor Turlough (Two first names, because apparently Earth is the only planet in the universe to have invented last names.) in Doctor Who. (which i do not actually watch, just read a lot about on forums) but i do not know if that was already his surname by coincidence... so i hyphenated.
Rita Austri de Shelbiville "RADS": Just a green-haired\eyed apparently aura\psychic Leaf recolor. (BTW, did you know Leaf actually has GREY hair, not BROWN?) Either comes from the Shelbyville from The Simpsons but mispelled, or from a similiar place called Shelbiville. She's apparently also part Pokémon or angel or whatever and has been affected with an anti-Pokerus named Zabux. So did Bart's Wigglytuff, Liggy, which may or may not have originally been a Wigglytuff but turned into one due to "Liggy" vaguely sounding like "Wigglytuff". This was in 2005 or 2006, way before Pokemon Black and White came with N, who also happens to have green hair and seem special. But RADS' hair color is closer to Aaron.
Kerli Serenity Elfen Lied "Kerly-ZZ": Just an orange\indigo Dawn recolor who entered the scene thanks to some event having to do with a mystical sword and some Angel\Devil Gyarados duo. She had slightly yellower skin than the others, at least while in Pokèmon Style. (Think like Brycen and Clay (remind you i made her in 2007, before there was much Pokehuman skin difference), only she's a 10\13-year-old-ish girl. Her skin would be rendered like Sherri and Terri while in the Simpson style.) She was supposedly from another, offscreen region, with possibly a Swablu or Hoppip or fakémon as her starter. (Possibly a "Lapinch", a Pokemon that looks like a Lapras with Trapinch features and was my first Pokefusion.)
Pus Rakin, Sr.: Based\inspired vaguely on my art teacher in middle school. He was either an human that was born looking like a Wartortle from a dad named Kaochii and a mom named Kairi (who may or may not be the same Kairi from Kingdom Hearts, or actually spelt Kaori\Kylie\Keheghliehehjey7ghe.gh2q) in a Saffron\Tokyo-nian temple, then wandered for 1000 years (or 3000? King AZ?) to finally return to the temple, or is a creation of Milhouse's digital world to be a guide of sorts. He wore a sash-backpack thing, a magical staff, and had a red kanji\X shape on his forehead, either tatooed or birthmark. And looked generally older than the FRLG artwork Watortle, who looks like a late-teenager who is bald and\or white-haired for fashion choice.
Aiko Utsukushii "Seby": Japanese idol from Tokyo\Saffron that was 16 when she fell in love with Bart Simpson when he was 10 or 15 depending if i remembered to age him up or not, and has no other personality except being "lovable" in a vaguely defined way. She has a Luvdisc of course. When Alomomola was released, nobody knew that Gen V was to be completely disconnected from the previous generations until the post-game (and a now-17-years-old Caitlin joining the ranks of the Elite Four- yup i believe each gen to be 3 years after the last except for BW2 and inconsistencies are due to time travel) so in my evochart, i made her Luvdisc evolve into Alomomola. Also she is the owner of Pus' temple, either due to family inheritance or simply her house being nearby.
Pus Rakin, Jr.: A Squirtle that's the son of Pus Sr. with Blue (PokeSpe) s' Ditto, "Ditty". Have i mentioned that both Pus-es can transform into hot ladies (Sr. becomes a 24-looking woman, and Jr. becomes a 9-years-looking girl.) using a combination of Pokètches (which may or may not be Milhouse's, and\or also function as Digivices of sort when in the virtual world), and the beach\"hotspring" from Mermaid Melody. (and maybe, or maybe not, also the vicinance to either Deli and her magical pet or to either of the two Maggies- see below, played a part.)
MewMargaret Selina Rakin-Simpson, Jr. (Maggie Jr., even if the full name is not the same... yes, i believe Marge\Maggie middle names to be Juliet. Selina comes from Deli's middle name, she's "Delina Selina Simpson".): She's the Mew counterpart to Maggie's (grand?)daughter, who is also Pus Jr.'s girlfriend, and prefers to spend time in an anthro-human-ish type form. (Yes, everyone has a Mew counterpart, except for all Pokémon, most aliens\people from other universes, Deli's entire species (Cloud-kins?), species like Deli's pet (Cloud-Furret? Ok, it looks like a Furret, but is not? Is it even a Pokèmon? Is it a Kyuubey-like Familiar? Alien? TARDIS? Time Lord with non-humanoid regenerations? Robot? Mutant? Cyborg? Swablu\Furret fusion? Less human-ish Cloud-kin?), and people\creatures like Pus Sr. and Jr., but Kaochii and Kairi had\have Mew Counterparts.) She is just... kinda based-ish on Maggie Simpson? Plus, Pus Sr. may or may not be (spiritually?) related to Mew-kind.

Most of my characters are original, but since I've only introduced five important human characters in my fic so far, I'll talk about them.

Tamara Lange - A 17 year old orphan who's had both good times and very bad times. She's sarcastic, misanthropic, and resentful of any authority at all. She despises teenage drama, and has never really made friends with people her age. She's fairly good looking, and a total genius intellectually, but thinks she's ugly and is convinced that she's just surrounded by morons. Tamara hasn't given much thought to what she wants to do with her life, as she's so far spent most of it just trying to survive with her ego intact. She has three Pokemon, but no trainer's license. Her favorite is her first, a Mareep named Zazo. they have a strange relationship based on unspoken understanding, not quite psychic, but close. I don't want to say what the other two Pokemon are yet, because their first appearances will be big moments.

Jennifer Lange - What might be called in TV an "offscreen character", talked about a lot, but not seen. This is because, as the story begins, she's vanished, presumed to be on the run due to "extreme" actions. Jennifer is Tamara's adoptive mother, who took her in four years before the story starts for unknown reasons. Jennifer worked as an officer of the International Police out of the Sinnoh branch office in Eterna, busting traffickers, drug pushers, kidnappers, serial killers, underground Pokemon fights, and sometimes tangling with a strange cult/power company named Galactic. Perhaps those stories might be told...another time.
Anyway, Jennifer Lange is referred to as a brilliant officer who went off the deep end, obsessed with a conspiracy theory revolving around a businessman she was at odds with, because he threatened Tamara. She had a loyal Grumpig named Werner.

Ross Russell - A brilliant trainer who just appeared on the battle scene, wowing crowds at a Kanto tournament by defeating a favorite from last year. Russell's a brutish looking man, said to be a former boxer, but he's got an easygoing, kind personality. Strangely, he is the current owner of Jennifer Lange's Grumpig, Werner.
More on him another time, when he shows up again in the fic.

Sydney Stanwyck - An officer of the International Police, one of Jennifer's coworkers. He's her closest friend in the force, and probably the only one among them Tamara trusts. His effeminate manner and outrageous fashions hide a steely determination to find the truth, and to protect the less fortunate from the more fortunate.

Garry Ironjaw - The head of the Sinnoh office of the International Police, and Jennifer and Sydney's boss. He happens to be a talking Aggron. Talking Pokemon are incredibly rare, and Garry is the product of a team of scientists who scoured the world for the smartest Pokemon of every species, and then modified their subjects to give them the ability to speech human languages. Many were killed by zealots convinced these Pokemon were abominations, before the International Pokemon League Association stepped in and decreed not only that the talking Pokemon could not be harmed, but that trainers would not be allowed to capture them, and if the Pokemon wished, they could be granted rights similar to those of people. Garry is one of three of them in the International Police, and the highest ranking.

My pool of OCs has expanded to include:

Shinichiro "Zip" Takahashi (高橋信一郎) (Pokémon, Digimon)
A sixteen-year-old anime/manga/video game otaku, the son of government agent Akimasa Takahashi and corporate lawyer Minae Takahashi. Not a professional trainer by any means, but quite capable of taking up a Poké Ball if necessary. His nickname comes from a shortening of his online handle, "winzip777".

I created him for the sixth campaign of an ongoing IRC RP I've been involved with for the last five years, out of a desire to play a male character for once. The scenario was a Pokémon/Digimon crossover, in which he was assigned the Crest of Reliability and acted as the players' main strategist and mediator.

Koharu Takahashi (高橋小春) (Pokémon, Digimon)
Shinichiro's seven-year-old sister, largely created to help flesh him out. Having said that, she does have a few defining characteristics of her own, including her exceptionally keen eyesight and awareness, which allow her to immediately pick up on tiny details other people might miss.

Later in the campaign, she became a two-in-one package when a seventeen-year-old version of her, under the alias Rumi Mikadono (帝野瑠実), was sent back in time by Celebi to prevent a disaster that ended the world in her timeline. She was assigned the Crest of Hope.

Honami Higashiyama (東山保奈美) (Pokémon, Digimon)
Twenty-two-year-old heiress to the Higashiyama Corporation in Hokkaidō, and Shinichiro's betrothed. Her initial arrogance and bigotry proves such a turn-off to him that he tries everything he can think of to get out of the engagement, up to and including pretending to be gay. Also one of the few characters to not be any sort of trainer at all—she frequently voices her disdain for animals in general.

I think I originally introduced her as a misguided attempt at comic relief, being an unsympathetic load whom the players could enjoy tormenting, usually by doing nothing more than having their Pokémon and/or Digimon out where she could see them. Later, I grew weary of this idea and made the decision to have her grow out of her bigoted elitism, her experiences with the other players teaching her to be a better person.

....and then a gamejacker forced her into a subplot where she had to become some sort of mystic wielding the powers of the Tao trio. Yeeeeaaaah....

My OC, Jimmy Lethal (real last name Lecavalier), started as... really just a self-insert. Over time, however, he grew to be more of his own character, which I think One Big Conspiracy illustrates well.

Considering I've got dozens, I probably should pick a few XD

There's Graham, who is my oldest Pokémon OC. Sortof. More like the incarnation of my oldest pokémon OC considering he has gone through a lot of changes (including name and background) I originally created him for a pokémon rp on neopets, many, many years ago. I think he started as some some sortof con-artist with a banette and a kirlia, before going through a lot of changes and eventually ending up being a young urban explorer/psychic with a ralts as a starter

Then there's Fae, who is also an incarnation of a very old character, and has gone through a lot of changes as well, though she has been stable in her design for longer than Graham

Then I also have a couple of characters that were pure accidents and which weren't created to be fully developed OC's. They often started out as side characters, or sometimes as the main characters of vignettes and then somehow I found myself returning to them, expanding on their designs and all of sudden they would become developed characters with real personalities
