On Windows, I totally use Opera only because Internet Explorer is totally insecure and Firefox uses alot of RAM..

On my Mac, I only use Opera and Shiira. I totally don't like Safari because it's interface is only avilable in metal brush which totally annoys me. I don't like Firefox on Mac because it's not native and totally do not like the interface on Mac OS X for Firefox.

I use Firefox at home, and mostly Safari at school.

Firefox, with IE on backup duty for those few sites I trust that Firefox is reluctant to access properly, or those few trustworthy site (University of Texas map library, that sort of stuff) that I like to access while a big memory hog (ie Photoshop) is running, as IE tend to take a bit less memory on those particular sites.

Opera for the same reasons as Eileen/Hikari.

I always reach out for Firefox when I go online. I also have Opera...well
just in case anything happens to my IE and Firefox. My sister's Firefox
somehow became corrupted already and not even clean installs seem to
fix the problem, so I directed her to Opera.

IE sits far in reserve if I ever come across those sites that just fail at supporting the little guys.

Firefox, I dunno why, though. Just personal preference, I guess.

I also use AOL when I need to send stuff to my brother.

With the avatar problems lately, I felt we could get some relevant information out of this thread with a little bump.

Yes, Archaic did mention the server kept track of who uses specific browsers, but that doesn't track the individual behind the browser.

This poll may give raw insight into how many people are having problems.

Firefox and IE, there both on my desktop... its just a matter of who I feel like clicking on that day.

Firefox, on this computer. On my main computer, I have Firefox as my main, with Opera as a backup if for some reason it doesn't like that. IE I only use if all else fails, like if I need to manually check windowsupdate.microsoft.com.

I've only ever tried IE and Firefox. I fell in love with Firefox since I first used it. I love that it's highly customizable.
I only use IE if I have problems with Firefox.
This doesn't surprise me, but it's funny how IE is a fall-back browser for everyone especially since it is made by Microsoft.

Firefox has been good to me ever since IE went down for me a few months ago.

I use Lynx you insensitive clod!!!

Hmmm... seeing that, I'm strongly inclined to believe the U.S. Air Force's maintenance records and ordering system uses some form of Lynx.

I use Firefox myself, although I do keep IE around for those inevitable snags (Netflix' Watch Now service, for example).

It's IE for me. It works just fine, after all. And for the record, I've tried FF, but I didn't see the big deal.

At school, whenever I'm on the macs I'm generally stuck using Safari(which is below-average, imo) although I've had the opportunity to use Camino there a few times. It's much better than Safari.

Opera.

IE sucks and Firefox suddenly stopped working...0.o
