I probably would be Paul. I severely overtrain. Or like
(do any of you even remember?) at the beginning of the first season
A.J. that dude with a sandshrew:banghead:.

Probably Misty and Dawn. Misty trains with the mentality of giving it her all, and having a lot of heart. Dawn focuses on a lot of combinations. They are also my Top 2 fav characters, so I am inspired mostly by their battle tactics.

Great thread, interesting topic =)

:D Your welcome, and I'm not going to lie, I like the whole friendship thing, it adds to the fun of the game.

Barry. Because I train my Pokemon tough but at the end still care about them. :-D

I guess more like Ash. I just kind of catch a random pokemon and decide to train it, and then focus on it's strong points.

Paul: Train hard, train fast, and don't get into any useless battles. If a pokemon can't keep up, it's forever boxed in the hope that I can trade it away for something in the future. Oh, and I also end up challenging trainers who are like, 10 levels over me so that I can get stronger too.

I'm so cruel :p

Paul. If the pokemon I am training ends up losing all the time or something i end up screaming at my DS, and blame the pokemon :/ :L

Like Ash, I guess.

I challenge EVERYONE because battling is fun and it makes my Pokémon stronger. I don't prefer any specific Nature on my Pokémon, I'll train whatever I catch and make them as strong as possible. Plus, I like Speed-based strategies because, y'know, doping myself with some Speed makes my training even better!
And I make a HUGE deal out of making them like me - IT BREAKS MY HEART if I find out any of my Pokémon are unhappy so I drug them until they like me.

I'm such a good trainer!

AWWWW....wut a cute goody-2-shoes!

How exactly do you train like Drew? He trains like any average coordinator. :|

Anyways since they are pixels i train like Paul. Low level pokemon with bad moves get tossed away while high level advanced move pool pokemon are the ones i used. I generally only battle to gain levels and i dont care about happiness :D

I'm guessing Drew...I don't like Ash's training strategy! XD

EDIT: I know Sapphire doesn't count...But I train a lot like her!

Misty's training strategy is worst than Ash's. So I guess May's. Ash is next.

its gotta be surprisingly gary. i catch all new pokemon i see pick out a few train and then rotate the bunch that i also like. BATTLE EVERYONEZ. KILL EVERYONEZ.... except for that bug catcher that always appears with like 9000 caterpie...*ring ring* 'hello?' 'i got stronger battle me' 'k' *sigh* another 6 caterpie...

I guess I'm like Ash. I used to simply catch every Pokemon I could, but now I tend to focus on a smaller number and give each one as much attention as possible, especially when it comes to forming a core team of my very best.
