Many poeople here and in other sites, complain that Brock was ignored through the Diamond and Pearl series in favour of Ash and Dawn. When Cilan came out, it was a fresh of air because Cilan has different thinks that Brock and he is supposed to be entertaining. And people thought that Cilan was really well developed and was getting screentime in the show. This starring role, who was superior to Iris was true until...
-BW2 was released and we find out that Cilan isn't in the games. During the first episodes, the writerts still make have Cilan's screentime that when Season 2 came on, Cilan is having everyday less screentime to the point that I was sure that Cilan has more starring roles than Dawn in BW2 through the last Detective episode.
-BW2 Cilan is like DP Brock in the vein that is a stale character that it doesn't get screentime and is being neglected in the background for the most part.
-In the Pokemon departmewnt, Cilan is that bad that actually is worse than Brock in DP. In DP, even in Brock's wrost moment, Croagunk was appearing regularly, mainly to showcase the gag but is appearing after all (whose is the important). With Cilan, even Pansage has been absent in too many episodes (at his date, only Stunfisk appeared in the last episode of DA in 6 episodes, and it isn't expected to get better in the upcoming four ones). Pansage only appeared in DA as a flashback of Oshawott battle in early BW. And in Episode N, it isn't much better. Since EP 15, he only appear physically three times, and in neither of the three Pansage has a respectable role. Same with Cilan, who only has a starring role iun the Episode 3 of Decolora Adventure (since the League).
What do you think that is more neglected, DP brock or BW2 Cilan? Why?
