What are some names of Characters of the Day that just don't do. It can be either Japanese or English or any other language.
The ones I don't like is Forrest and Forrester Franklin.
1.Forrest and Forrester?
2.Why my last name?

Nearly every name in Pursuing a lofty goal Provo and Steveland and are not names, my computer doesn't even think Steveland is a word

IM SEYMOUR THE SCIENTIST...

Not only a bad dub translation of him (being a romantic in the JP, and in the EN he's just a geek...)

The name suits him in the English dub, but in the Japanese... if they kept his correct persona in the EN, i think i'd die at the name Seymour XD

Rosebay is probably one of the worst CoD names ever it's like scraping the bottom of the barrel.

To be honest, I can't really think of any "bad" character of the day names. I mean, it seems like they've used a different name for almost every COTD that has appeared in the anime.

Although, I know they have repeated a few of the names, lol.

Anyway, I wonder if Pokemon USA is just pulling random names from a book. That would be hilarious. XD Or maybe they actually try to translate the character's Japanese name into English (or keep the same name), if they can.

What about Rudy? Not fitting for him at all.

And Allegra, another one

They named someone after a math subject? What I can't believe it they haven't used Lora, Laura, Lauren, and so forth. They've done Lisa, why not Laura? I know they used Lara waaaaaay back in Kanto with the Pokemon Flame-a-thon episode. That was it though...

Allegra sounds fine...

But tbh I don'y remember the names of the CotD. At least most of them... there's no need because we never see them again in 99.999999% of the cases.

Steveland is in fact an actual name, albeit spelled slightly differently.

Stevie Wonder (born Stevland Hardaway Judkins on May 13, 1950; name later changed to Stevland Hardaway Morris)[1] is an American singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and record producer.

The most badass character of the day ever had a pretty stupid name, the English dub just gave him his Japanese name -- Sho, from Pika & Goliath.

Just didn't sit right with me.

Dawn's opponent in "Another One Gabites The Dust", Ursula.
This name sounds too old-fashioned for a young girl/ woman
