I've been wondering what an event for Pokemon X&Y could be and basically I just wanted to see some DLC with new areas and new events in them, like using the train station to travel to some new locations, entering the other power plants or just flying to an island off the coast ...

But my favorite idea for an even includes the two castles and the giant court yard... Traveling to the rout where that waterfall to the empty cave is bellow the rout, where it seems something should be there, you'd meet a new legendary time traveling pokemon that would accidentally after being startled by the player would jump to the past leaving you stranded in the time period when the two castles were at war. During that time the player would travel to the cities with the two at war where he would chase the time traveling legendary. By accident you'd fall into the conflict and be forced to participate in war where you'd fight other trainers that are participating [soldiers] the player would finally reach the large castle where the courtyard is and find the ruler attempting to force the time traveling legendary to serve him. After a massive calamity the player would defeated the second legendary that apparently comes from the future and has been chasing the time traveler for several eons, after a short interaction by telepathy the time traveling legendary that brought you to this time would ask for help and by defeating the second legendary the player has the option of witch one he wants to catch, he could capture the second one and have sealed in a secret chamber beneath the courtyard maze where he could retrieve it after returning to the future and have it as a usable pokemon or he could defeat the second legendary and have the little time traveler as a companion, or both... then after a few more tripes to a few special places in time the player returns and goes to the courtyard to solve a puzzle to open a staircase beneath the fountain where the pokeball with the legendary remains hidden, and gain the legendary pokemon ...

Time traveling legendary? I'm afraid that's already a thing :p (Celebi, as well as Dialga)

Doesn't mean there couldn't be a new time traveling traveling pokemon (New pokemon revealed: Doc Brown!) but as admittably awesome as that castle scene would be, Nintendo's way more likely to just be like: "Hmm, they want a cool event? What could we do... oh, F*#ck it, lets just send a Diancie through the postal service."

Personally, I think each of the "unconfirmed" events should have their own cool event setting. Hoopa should be found in the chamber of emptiness surrounded by fog, Diancie should be in that one empty room in reflection cave surrounded by floating gems, and Volcanion could be in that one empty room in terminus cave, surrounded by lava. I think it'd be more fun to catch them, rather than find them in a pokeball.

Agreed, its always a lot more fun to actually catch events instead of being gifted them.

Yeah, that's what made the old events so much fun. I don't see why nintendo doesn't do that anymore. The events get more hype, therefore more publicity. Or even legendary pokemon. In platnum, it was amazing how many new legendaries there were. Heck, I had a hay day in Black 2, hunting down the Regi's, or the lake trio. In X and Y, they had two legendaries. That's it. Not even a trio, which has become a standard in the series. Oh, well, maybe we'll get more immersive events in ORAS.

well the idea of finding the sealed pokeball, was simply if you caught it and because of some fact like it being an ancient pokeball or something, you couldn't bring it back with you so it was sealed by the rulers of the castle till the time would come ...

So, kinda like that one ancient pokeball in... umm, movie 7 I think. That'd be cool.

Huh? Did you forget Zygarde? XYZ?

I'd say Zygarde is to Kyurem as Xerneas and Yveltal are to Reshiram and Zekrom. But you're right; there are very few new legends.
Also, the implementation of Mewtwo was just lazy. He was just standing in a tiny room with no dungeon or build-up. It would be nice if they made up for it with actual interesting events for Hoopa and Volcanion.

I knew I was forgetting someone. I'm rather forgetful. there are supposed event details about diancie and volcanion. diancie, you get from a postmaster, only to have people barge in and try to take it. Volcanion, you supposedly get from the news station in Lumiose. (There is actually a very interesting note pertaining to "A mythical pokemon" on the publisher's desk, check it out.)

Actually, once you get Volcanion or Hoopa there's people you can talk to and learn some backstory behind them (For Hoopa its revealed the missing reporter was in search of Hoopa), I forgot what the Diancie event was though :p

EDIT: My mistake, I messed up :p You activate the Hoopa event by talking to someone in Parfum Palace's library, and its the reporter who was seeking Volcanion. You don't get them from the event, they just activate it. As for Diancie, yeah, two people try and take it once you get it.

Oh, so I guess that's pretty cool. Still, it'd be cooler if you caught them yourselves.
