What do you expect in terms of competitions?

Gen 3 had Contests.
Gen 4 had Super Contests and Pokeathlon.

I don't really expect an enhanced version of Super contests and I can't say I expect their return in this region, though I enjoy them.
Pokeatlon's..They could reappear or be enhanced, but they almost seem like a HGSS/Johto exclusive thing to me.

I think there could be both a new form of contests and the pokethlon together. The pokethlon was simply way to fun to be left out and it could have so many more levels to add to it.
 
I hope they bring back contests with either a new system or the original system, I hated the Super Contest system! Seeming as contests were absent in HGSS, it'd make sense to bring them back. People liked Pokeathlon but it wasn't my cup of tea...
 
Contests will be back if there are gonna be R/S remakes. Finally the good 'ol gen III contests.

I think they will award ribbons however, no matter what it'll be.
 
I'd like an enhanced, more in depth version of the Gen III contests, and the return of the pokethlon would not go unwelcomed
 
Hopefully, if you can go to Hoenn in BW or if there are remakes, they'll make the Hoenn contests better. I can't stand the way they made them.
 
Well, I never really cared about anything except the Pokethlon, so I'd like it if it would be included.
I can definitely see contests making their return, whether it be the Gen3 ones or the Gen4 ones.
 
I don't like these mini-games, except the original R/S Contests, which were great.

So I want original Contests, but that to happen... is next to impossible. I just hope they don't make anything bad like Super Contests.
 
I loved Pokeathlon and want it back. A few new minigames wouldn't hurt.
 
I know this may be the Anime influencing me, but I would love to introduce Pokemon Contest Battles. I don't know it would help make Contests have a cool appeal, rather than cute. And have the Contests dotted around the region again like in Ruby and Sapphire. Cramming them into one Contest Hall, always bother me.

I enjoyed the Pokeathlon, and it would be great if it stayed. All of this plus a new Battle Frontier would make the post-Elite Four blues officially go away.
 
Contests were uninteresting, please do not bring them back.

Pokéathlon, however, I want to see returning. Maybe make new events for it, keeping some from HGSS.
 
eh, the contests in sinoh were annoying and i really didn't like them. i hope they bring back the gen3 ones again; they were actually a bit more exciting because points could be taken as well as awarded.

poketholon was fun, but not really something i want back. they should be kept in johto.

if they have something totally different in b&w, they should at least bring back the gen3 contests in the gen3 remakes
 
I'm expecting both contests and pokeathlon to return, however I also want to see a tournament style battles.

Though Pokeathlon does seem Johto-exclusive, it'd be cool if it made a comeback with new events.

Plus maybe something new. Also, the Bug-Catching competition returning would be pretty cool. Depends on how many new bugs there are and how good they are though.

i agree with everything you said aside from the bug-catching thing. that's definitely a johto exclusive thing. we got new bug types (especially in gen4) and we didn't get it back until the johto games, so i don't think it'll be making a comeback. it seems like it's only supposed to take place in the national park anywyay.S
