Ever had to make a decision of some sort but couldn't really make up your mind? Maybe you were forced to choose between two games to buy but you couldn't really pick one over the other? Perhaps you just couldn't figure out what kind of pizza to order, or had two places you wanted to go but both of them were at the same time? In those cases where you need some sort of outside force to make a decision, what do you prefer to do?

Me, I flip a coin, or sometimes roll a D20 if I have one on hand, hell, if it's a three-way decision, I might even use a D30 (I mean, it's gotta have some practical use, right?)

I usually just think about it for a few minutes. If I could only get one, I would ask my friend what she thinks or I would just make a final decision. If I could get both, I'd get both.

I'm awful about making decisions, so I usually think about it until the last minute, and then pick something in a panic.

Yeah...not the best thing to do.

I don't get faced with many decisions in my life. Trivial things like the one I faced today (the best curtains to buy to suit my room) I arrive at by taking some of the best options and checking to make sure I'm not overlooking anything better. Then it's a mixture of mental picturing each one, combined with their pros and cons and eventually I find a winner. When it comes to food i'm quite set in my ways so that's never a problem.

Give it a bit of time, usually the answer just makes itself known. If not I weigh out the pros and cons. When it comes to buying something (say there are two guitar straps I liked and I could only afford one), I usually pick one up and continue browsing the store, if I then think "no I want the other one" then I go back at the end and get the other instead and then I'm always like "yeah, this was the right one".

I procrastinate about it for a horribly long time usually, even if its just a small thing like buying new music. Although sometimes I just make the decision on the spot when I feel right about it.

If it's very close I flip a coin. I'm usually a pretty decisive person

I don't like to flip a coin. Usually, if something just seems better but I'm unsure, I'll go with my gut. Most often, it's right in these situations.

It's a little old fashioned, but, to make decisions, I do the classic. Pros and Cons. I don't make the list though. I just talk it through with myself.

Like today. I needed a new suit because I have an important job meeting coming up.

Pro: If I get a new suit, I'll be sure to make quite an impression at the meeting.
Con: The place where I get my suits can be really expensive. so If I do buy one, I'll spending a lot of money.
Pro: Instead I'll just use one of the suits I currently own.
Con: But I would have to send them to the dry cleaners to get them clean, and it would cost more than getting a new suit.

Because of this I decided to get a new suit. I didn't have to pay as much as the dry cleaners would've charged me for cleaning the ones I own, but it was still pretty expensive.

The cost of the suit was half of what the dry cleaners would've charged me to clean one, so I could've bought 2 new suits with that money instead of paying them to only clean one.
