I really hate altcaps. I see no sense in them.

I think they're pretty cOoL as long as they're used for decoration rather than writing.
besides, the Pokemon logo PoKeMoN is done in AlTcApS.

I think they're alright, if not used excessively. If they are used excessively, then I think it's funny that whoever's typing is going to such great lengths to prove how stupid they are. ^_^

Personally, I like AlTcApS because they're in ADOM, which is a Roguelike computer game that I like.

You should try Ancient Domains of Mystery (the one I just mentioned)! You probably know this, but in most Roguelikes, everything is deadly, and you have to wonder how your character even survived childhood; but in ADOM the whole game takes place in a super-lethal mountain range. The rest of the world is safe and utopian. It actually seems plausible.

since its almost exclusivly used by idiots or people trying to appear as such, i tend to hate them, and almost anything that makes posting painful to read.

used in just a word or two is fine, but i honestly havent seen it done outside this thread, ever.
