What do you think about Roserade learning the move Leaf Blade?

I would really like to see Roserade using the move Leaf Blade although it can't learn Leaf Blade. Leaf Blade could come out of Roserades bouquets shape like a sword and uses it like one. Leaf Blade would be perfect for Roserade.

If you could think of other moves a specific pokemon can't learn but its perfect for it what move would it be and for which pokemon would it be for?

I'm just wondering who the hell would run a Physical Sweeper Roserade with max 262 Attack while it has a whopping max 383 Special Attack.

Any time I see one of these threads, I always say:

Ampharos - Tail Glow

on a serious note, Gyarados and Fly.

Seriously isn't Gyarados part Flying, but to be honest I can't really see a Flying Gyarados in the sky.

Dude read the ? I'm asking about if Roserade should learn the move Leaf Blade not the difference between its max Attack and Special Attack Stat.

Ampharos - Tail Glow

Yeah, I wonder about that too.

Also Swablu and Altaria - Cotton Spore.

Lunatone with Moonlight and Solrock with Morning Sun. It would make complete sense, even if they practically would have no use on these Pokémon.

Misdreavus with Fake Tears. I once predicted that it could get Nasty Plot as well, but it learns the move in HG/SS...

I have a physical Roserade and after a single swords dance, it can seriously injure some pokemon.

Really? I'm surprised Roserade can't learn Leaf Blade. Can she learn Razor Leaf?

How about Gyarados learning ANY Flying moves, period. The only one he can possibly learn is Bounce, which is through a tutor.
Seriously, they desperately need to retcon Gyarados to be a Water/Dragon-type. They did that with Magnemite, and it makes even more sense here!
Gyarados is never seen flying. It's always in the water, or sitting on land.
(Actually, it flew in the first movie, but Mewtwo was psychically carrying it)

As odd as it sounds... Not everything is about competitive battles.
If this was about how to make Pokemon better for competitive battles, it'd be in the Video Games section. (Even so, it's never a bad thing to have a good psychical move on a Pokemon, even if it's best at Special Attack)

magnemite was different. It had a type added, not changed.

Why can Nidoking not learn Earthquake by level up? And for that matter, why can't Flygon? If you're going to make a dragon/ground type, it should be able to get Earthquake and actually meet its potential.

Why the hell can't Mewtwo learn Shadow Ball naturally?
He is the ORIGINAL Shadow Ball user! This one makes me really angry...

It can learn Magical Leaf, which is almost the same thing.

But I think the main thing about Leaf Blade is that it requires a single big leaf for some sort of sharp edge. Roserade doesn't seem to have anything like that.

Would Power Whip be a better choice?

That move in the movie wasn't a Shadow ball. It was a ball of psychic Energy. Notice when Mewtwo fires its ball of energy at Mew, Mew sends one back about the size of Mewtwo and its colours are inverted?

well, melee made it Shadow Ball so it doesn't matter.

I feel the same way about this as I do it being able to know Poison Jab. Pointless, really.

I feel like I read somewhere, this somewhere being a Pokemon-reputable source, that Shadow Ball was, in fact, first used in "Mewtwo Strikes Back" by Mewtwo. With your arguement, you could say they fought with the first Aura Spheres...

Melee isn't cannon to Pokemon. For one thing, it made Mewtwo incredibly slow despite being a fast Pokemon. My friend explains it by its levitation, but really, if it wasn't for its psychic powers, Mewtwo wouldn't be able to achieve much of its physical feats either.

I've only read that in-fandom with no citations. How does my argument possibly be used to say that they fought with the first aura spheres? I said it was a ball of psychic energy.

You could say that the reason that Mewtwo was given Aura sphere in this generation was due to inspiration from the first Movie. Considering that there is a fine line between Aura and Psychic powers (some of which even overlap), it is a possibility. Then again, a lot of new-generation legendaries can use Aura sphere, so it could just be an innate ability of being legendary.

It is implied that legendary Pokemon would have a greater affiliation with Aura than any other.
