Wow I'd never seen LGPE before and I almost didn't recognise him lol. I think the flowy hair in the manga suits him the best because it makes him look more casual despite being one of the greatest minds in the Pokémon world. It's a funny thought to me that an unassaming dude with Kansai-ben is actually genius who invented something as groundbreaking as the Pokémon Storage System.
 
Bill's design is good! My favorites are probably gen 2 and 3, although I do prefer the more ruffled hairstyle of the manga and gen 7 designs. His clothing definitely fits a nerdy PC manager. He's professional, smart, geeky, but the ruffled hair is a subtle nod to the "Poké Maniac/Pokémon Fanatic" title of his.

His design in the anime is definitely different. It leans more of his Maniac side and less of his PC manager style. It's not bad but not my preferred look for him.
 
He looks kind of frightening to me in the Let’s Go games, I’ll be honest, haha. He just exudes a sort of menace and implicit violence that any ultra-wealthy guy who looks dressed to golf gives off.

I think I’m also most partial to his Gen II design. It’s the cutest and most approachable of the bunch. That said, though, he’s lost a bit of impish-ness you can really feel in his original Sugimori portrait and his anime portrayal’s “:3” face. I kinda hope he gets it back someday.
 
I’ve always loved his designs. All of them are really good.
 
i like Bill's designs the most when he's just a scrawny little guy in a button up with a cat face, it just really sells the idea that he's this nerdy 90s computer guy for me.

I honestly really like Bill as a character i think he's really fun although i don't do as much with him as i think. I like to think him and Eusine are friends due to their shared nerdiness and desire to study rare pokemon, but that's pure headcanon.
