What do you think the protagonists' English names will be?

When HeartGold and SoulSilver are translated into English, what names do you think will be given to the protagonists?

Raine suggested that Kotone's English name could be "Melody", since her Japanese name means "sound of the harp". Another option, brought up by Maxim, is "Bell", or alternatively, "Belle". I think, perhaps, "Harper".

Hibiki...he's a little harder to name, but as his Japanese name means "echo", I thought perhaps his English name could be "Rever", short for "Reverberation".

What do you think?

Well, we had Brendan the protagonist and Brandon the Pyramid King in the same game together, so why not?

Granted, their names are spelled differently, but they're still very similar.

I like Melody for Kotone, it was my suggestion, Glitch. Belle's was Maxim's. *shot* Harmony and Belle are alright. I don't see her as a Harper though.

Rever is creative, but I think NoA might pull out a random name that goes along with whatever Kotone's english name is for Hibiki since the same happened with Lucas.

EDIT: Nevermind, it wasn't so random, but I still think NoA will use a "normal" name that contains a latin word meaning "echo" or something similar like they did with Kouki/Lucas.

Melody, Belle, Bella, Harmony, seem like likely choices. And good ones, too.

Hibiki...no idea. I'm guessing they might just give him a random name.
