So I wanted to know what people mostly eat for breakfast. Since it's mostly Americans here I'm betting cornflakes is going to be the #1 answer, but we'll see. 1 rule tough:

this poll is about what you usually eat, so if you have the urge to eat fruit for breakfast just once a month, please don't mark it. if you eat it like two times a week or something it's ok tough.

I seriously hope nobody'll mark the "other" option, since I spent 25 minutes on wikipedia looking for lot's of different breakfasts (and I excluded asian and african ones, sorry about that but else it's too much work for me).

by the way, this is the kind of bread I mean with sliced bread

sorry for the hugeness of that picture

Hmmm, maybe I should stop making these huge polls? Nah, it's good to have a lot of choice, don't you think?

I eat 2 slices of bread spread with margarine for breakfast. I also normally have them with a glass of whole pasteurized milk.
That is all.

lol come to think of it, I didn't even say what I eat for breakfast. On Holidays and weekends I eat two slices of bread with cheese on it, and on normal schooldays I eat one slice with either cheese or peanutbutter, but then I eat two slices bread with cheese at 11.00 am at school, so that's sortof my brunch ^^'

Cereal is most common, though I try for fruit. I wakes me up.

Come school time I could be living off soda and oreos for breakfast.

I object to this thread. There's not enough answers, there's at least 6 breakfast foods that I eat that aren't on here. Additionally, I try to eat different things for breakfast every day, and they're not always breakfast foods.

That said, for the past 2 days I've had muffins for breakfast, and I also enjoy things like french toast, cookies, cake and doughnuts.

I usually have granola and yogurt for breakfast. Though I occaisonally have something else.

waffles and microwavable sausage during most of my school days, although i have bacon and...non-microwavable sausage a lot, too.
and pillsbury cinnamon rolls. those are godly.

Dude. I spend 25 minutes on wikipedia to find all those answers. There are 29 options right now. Too bad I forgot toast tough. And Muffins, cookies, cake and doughnuts are an unhealthy breakfast, and I know nobody who eats it. For the same matter I could've added crisps, candy bars and orange soda, for the people who eat that for breakfast.

On school days, I just eat a poptart with some apple juice or chocolate milk. On the weekends, days off, or summer, I usually have pancakes or waffles.

Lol at "ontbijtkoek" being there xD.

I always just eat a few slices of bread. I like cornflakes too, but I just can't eat a whole bowl of those.

Muffins, some kinds of cake and doughnuts are very common breakfasts around here. Dunkin Donuts are all over the place. Who cares if it's healthy? That wasn't the question.

Ontbijtkoek is tasty, but I never eat it for breakfast.

I'm not a fan of ontbijtkoek, but my Dad loves it.
It was just funny to see it on an english forum, but then I saw you're from the Netherlands too :)

Most of the time during Summer (I never eat breakfast before school) I'll have either an Egg Sandwhich (Fried Egg, Cheese, and Ham), it's kinda like an Egg McMuffin at McDonalds too so it's good.

I've been getting healthier nowadays so this is the revised answer:

Bread, french toast, peanut buttered bread.

When I'm away at school my breakfasts tend to be much more elaborate, mostly due to availability. On average though, my breakfast tends to consist of cereal, fruit, milk, and juice of some kind.
