What do you want the anime to have accomplished before the BW Era ends?

Like what kinds of things do you want to see in the anime that aren't there now, or what do you want some of the main characters to accomplish? Personally, I'd like to see Ash become a bit more mature and less naïve (Yeah, right.). Or Iris becoming a Dragon Master before she leaves the show. What are your thoughts?
 
you know... I'd probably go on and repeat myself about having separate involvements with the Orre Region setting (come ON, a reference from the Celebi movie is NOT gonna cut it...), a darker and edgier story where things are a little more serious than what the anime's dealt with so far (assuming the Galactic arc was not as dark as the games initially had it in the final confrontation.

but you wanna know what I'd REALLY like to see? a Cross-canon anime special with Pokemon Adventures via the ENTRALINK... whether it be some conflict in an alternate Pokemon world or whatever, I'm sure I'm not the only one wondering WHAT will happen if Ash met Red (or Black if it's exclusively Unova), bonus point if they battle each other in some unspecified tournament (though anyone who knows the Adventures manga will kind of understand the fact that Red will CURB-STOMP Ash).

How about Ash finally winning a league tournament? Especially considering how badly TPTB screwed him last time.
 
I don't really like BW, but I want it to:

1. Be more like DP and less like the original series.
2. Go a bit slower instead of rushing at 1GBPM(1 gym battle per month)
3. Have all of Ash's Pokemon do SOMETHING. I swear, the only ones of Ash's Pokemon that do things on a regular basis are Pikachu, Oshawott, and Scraggy. Tepig, Snivy, Unfezant, Swadloon, Boldore, and Palpitoad need to do a lot more.

I don't really like BW, as I just hate most things that its done (other than introduce Iris and Cilan, who I love).
 
There's been a lack of moving rivalries along past their starting point so far imho, so I'm definitely hoping Burgundy advances to B-class and Trip finally acknowledges Ash's existence by the end. That and I want certain Pokemon on Ash's team to go out with a bang by leaving a good impression on me so I don't constantly forget they exist coughpalpitoadcough.

Would also love to see Paul again but eh, gonna try and limit this to things that actually have a chance of happening XD;

-All of main cast's current Pokémon to evolve all the way through. Later additions can stay unevolved.
-Rivals to get a proper closure. It can be open ended, what I want is them to be not disspointing if they are open ended.
-Cilan and Iris to get more focus before they leave and have accomplished something before they leave, rather than being served accomplishments through actually trying(like Cilan's constantly changing moveset and Iris' Don Battle victory)
-Elite Four members to appear.
-Team Plasma and Team Rocket to be relevant. I don't care for N's appearance though, since I don't have any faith in animé pulling off his character well.
-Sommeliershipping to be canon.

Ifs(depending on whether italics happen or not):
-If R/S/E remakes happen, May and her rivals to return for a few episodes, and interact with other characters beyond main characters and their main rivals.
-If we get a filler saga, I want Ash's underdogs and late additions to be stars(Kingler, Muk, Totodile, Gible, Quilava, Noctowl etc.), and if previous stars were to get any appearance, make it Hoenn ones, not Kanto or Sinnoh ones(yes, not even Buizel, Gliscor and Torterra despite their track record and awesomeness, they can wait for the next series).
 
I want:
-Bel to kick Ash's ass in at least a 3on3!
-Oshawott to go into Samurott mode.
-Levanny to shine in some great battles!
-Ash win the league and run into the sunset with Pikachu, so they can get replaced by fresh characters.
-Dawn reappearing and participate in a contest and win againt Cilan in the finals!
-Cilan to get a S class connosuir rival! who will make him work harder
-Dawn to caputre Liligant or whismicott .
-Iris capture a Dragon type, it hasn't to be from Unova! An egg from Dawn! with Bagon!
-Iris and Axew to start battlin strong opponents and develop! Axew learning Incinerate, cause I think it needs a fire type move just for diversity!
-A decent T Plasma plot!

THIS. I'm sick and tired of seeing her lose even though she's shown impressive improvement.

I'd also like Satoshi to win the Isshu League, Iris to have Kibago evolve all the way, and Dent become an S-Class Sommelier.
 
I want Ash telling Iris that she's a kid, and it results in some sort of emotional/dramatic breakdown.

Choroneko story with Dent to be cleared up/hinted at more.

Some reference to the Plasma plot or N :(

Trip to be an interesting character.

I definitely want some team Plasma and actually good Team Rocket stuff to happen. Its just wrong how they treat the TRio in BW. So far the fruits of the writers labor in overhauling them have gone to rot. And of course, Other than that, I don't see much they could do this far in the series to make up for their disastrous character flaws, even if they do improve somewhat. I hope the one thing this crazy, alternate reality of a series accomplishes is that the writers learn from their mistakes. That's just how I feel about it.

- More development on the rivals backgrounds (Cabernet was explained, but more about Langley, Trip, Kenyan, Bel, etc)

- COME ON DENTO WHAT DO YOU HAVE AGAINST CHORONEKO

- For it to be explained somehow why Dento knows about SO MANY THINGS

- For some of the Pokemon to have more distinct personalities

- Can we just be done with Don Battles and wait for the League to have battles to care about plz

- See other badge collectors challenge the gyms like Bel did

- Something with Team Plasma
