What do you want to see happen in the anime?

Exactly what it says on the tin. Here you can post things you want to see happen on this show, whether they be serious or cracky or whatnot. Just don't, like, passive-aggressively bash characters you don't like by wishing bad things upon them, or anything like that. That just seems like a bad idea.

Anyway, I'll start:

- Assuming Zekrom's story with Ash isn't tied up in the last episode of N (which doesn't look likely at this point), have it follow Ash back to Kanto and confront him in the last couple of episodes after DA and before XY. Out of that, Zekrom becoming the next Ho-oh, and Zekrom's plot continuing into XY, that just seems like the best option to me.
- Ho-oh and Zekrom fighting over who gets to stalk Ash
- Burgundy follows Ash back to Kanto or even to XY-land under the assumption that Cilan's still with him. He isn't. She is not pleased.
- For some reason, I want to see the TRio become traveling companions for Ash. Like, Gio decides to retire and disband TR, or he finally fires the clowns, and they end up tagging along with Ash because they have no idea what else to do. There'd be a running joke where they keep forgetting they're not supposed to be evil anymore and trying to solve problems in underhanded ways, and Ash has to step in and stop them.
- Finally something not about stalkersTRio gets rivals. While the main evil team plot continues as it usually does, there's a pair of comic relief mooks who keep showing up and committing petty crimes in the name of their team. The TRio takes umbrage to this apparent theft of their gig.
- Finally, I want Masami Okui to do an opening song for the show. Because she's awesome.

So... post away!
 
Good topic. I have a few things i'd like to see in my list.

By order: (I know non of these will probably happen.)
1. Ash win a league
2. Ash beat a E4 Pokemon
3. Ash reunite with his old pokemon and train them hard with the knowledge he got from his journeys
4. Ash goes back and win all the leagues he lost at before (Kanto, johto etc.)
5. Ash beats an E4
6. Ash becomes a champion
7. Ash be officially declared a pokemon master
8. Finish the anime for good.

By no particular order: (I know non of these will happen either.)
- GS ball plothole be picked up again and resolved.
- We get to see Ash's dad
- Jessie become the head of Team Rocked with james and meowth being her right/left hands
- Ash roflpwn richie
- Ash catch a gengar
- Ash reunite with Pidgeot even for a single episode
- Brock get engaged or married
- Pikachu evolve

more to come xD
 
-Ash to win a league
-Misty, Brock and May return to main cast
-A short time skip that sees the characters age into their early teens at least
-More emphasis on Ash's old Pokemon
-Pokeshipping...>.>
-Drew to come back and reignite ContestShipping
-Brock to maybe get a girlfriend. Might cause problems though...
-More backstory for all the main characters, especially Ash

Off the top of my head.
 
ASH WINNING A LEAUGE AND BECOMING THE POKEMON MASTER

Apparently, Ash winning a league is what we all want. (The Orange League doesn't really count; it was minor league stuff compared to the main regions.) Lemme expand on it:

Ash wins a league, preferably by beating his rival in the finals. He then goes on to battle the regional champion; whether or not he wins is immaterial, as long as he makes it a good fight. For the next generation, Ash goes to the next region and meets a rookie trainer who is preparing to go on a gym challenge. Ash goes with the rookie as a mentor. To me, it's perfect: we have a newbie to take on the gyms and make the newbie mistakes so Ash won't have to, and Ash will maintain the competence he's supposed to have while being forced to grow in new ways.
 
I wish many things to happen in this show, which would imo improve its quality in general:

1.) For start i would like to see writers for change cutting down on constant character replacing, reusing some of previous Ash friends doing build up on their story and give them chance to shine more. I think it would add for refreshing and unpredictable twist to see familiar face return after long time updated with new pokemon, design and changes going on bigger and better things,. Instead of endlessly adding new companions which will leave anyway with unfinished story, never to be seen again.

It would be more interesting to watch writers expand on already developed story of some character current role by giving them new interests and quirks giving to fans something they didn't knew about him until now etc.
To have them develop to more significant degree gaining more depth and mystery, have their backstories and personalities be explored to deeper level along with characters,their pokemon and plots which form story being taken to new directions being treated as continuation.

Rather than going in new generation through yet another rehash and predictable routine of following another greenhorn through basic steps all over again.

2.) Personally i wish Misty is back to main cast,deserving another chance imo. She was great character, brought humor and tension within group with her multi sided personality missing that charismatic and lively interaction she brought. I also feel she had most untapped potential left with writers not developing her as much as they could leaving several things about her goal, story, ambitions unexplored and unfinished.

It would be interesting to see done more with many things being unexplored.Like expanding on her goal of water master,do more with pokemon,reveal more about past and open potentially new subplots to enrich here story and do continuation..Trying to become some powerful water trainer apprentice(like Lorelei or Wallace)with purpose of becoming E4 is one of many other available option to take her in new direction and do significant growth too. It would be also welcomed to find out more about her past and things which influenced her in becoming what she is today opening subplots to develop more as person, and seeing Gyarados,Politoad, Psyduck and whatever pokemon she caught in meantime making progress would be bonus as well.

She definitely has potential and great personality to make this anime enjoyable and filled with lot of charm and vibrant dynamic.

I would also like to see Max comeback to cast. Say what you want, but kid had life in itself never being used to full potential .It would be nice seeing him getting first pokemon, start out journey and develop as trainer. Given how well he bonds with Psychic types( like Ralts ,Jirachi and several other episodes showed)he could form impressive pokemon team out of psychic and other types.

3.) I would also like to see another set of chronicles made, featuring characters which left main cast to continue exist. It would be nice to create episodes about May adventures in Johto, her rivalries and obstacles she encountered there for example.

4.) Or this show have evolve going outside of patterns and set up in advance repetitive rinse and repeat cycle of Ash starting out gym quest, falling short from winning league starting all over again, with not much progression being made in long term in such way(aside from moving to higher place at league tournament). Instead i would take him forward going on bigger and better things doing build up on previously constructed storyline.

Personally i wish writers have him win league for a change, challenge E4 and battle champion.Afterwards he could try out more challenging and harder quest than gyms are(similar to how BF was or World Cup recently),going forward with already molded and experienced trainer learning new things, adapting to new battling styles and growing until he becomes good enough to go on some sort of league for masters becoming eventually one of best. Similar how they did with Tyson for example in Beyblade with his quest not ending after becoming world champion.
I would also do more with Ash past having him grow more in emotional sense, introduce his father(which could be actual master) building up subplot around that etc.

All of this way i look at it could open gateway toward more continuity, plot based and captivating series which build up on stories, develop on friendship and adventure aspect along with investing more into started storyline allowing to have them interlace between themselves doing build up.

Rather than restart we have chance to see within current format at start of every new saga.

High-stakes crime drama set in 1930s Castelian.

Ash Ketchum, a veteran of the Great PokéWar, is a private investigator working clandestinely for a mysterious, catlike creature calling itself "mu-two", together with his partner and former stock broker Misty Waterflower, who lost it all in the big crash. They're investigating a group calling itself the Church of Plasma, a crony religious organization kidnapping Pokémon off the streets, and along the way get involved in a confrontation with the Rockets, an infamous criminal gang from Kanto. But it turns out that something deeper's going on, as evidenced by mysterious German agents slinking around in the shadows and Stalinist spies working their way through the Rocket ranks. Ultimately, it's up to Ash and his companions (more join, although Misty can be the female lead to satisfy her fans or something) to bring a stop to the plots of Ghetsis, Giovanni, and the mysterious foreign instigators.


And then Ash can win a league.
 
We see the process of ash and pikachu returning to the factory to be destroyed and replaced with new, weaker versions of themselves.
 
-Return of old characters and old pokemon.
-Ash use Palpitoad
-Cilan catch another pokemon and go with Ash to the next region.
-Iris leaving

Also, I don't think there was any need to revive this thread - it's very similar to a thread we locked recently for asking too vague a question and promoting too much of a free-for-all.
