What do your parents think you do on your phone?

Well, in this thread, we're just talking about what your parents think you do on your phone (now or as a teenager).

In my case, my parents think I am playing my phone when I am actually checking my Twitter feed or hanging out around here. They are very concerned about this, especially since I am 13 years old and I don't act like any other young teenager here in the Philippines....

I didn't have a cellphone when I was a kid. I had a beeper when I was around 16 or so cause I am an old bastard and cellphones weren't really a thing back then, and I had a job so I needed a beeper.

Now? Well, dad still pays for my phone and he likes to bitch that I barely use it (which is true). I guess he thinks I just have it for emergencies, like if the car breaks down, which is mostly true, but I play Pokemon GO on it and on rare occasions use messenger programmes on it.

What my parents think I do: talk to my friends, order pizza, call random girls, make prank calls
What I really do: talk to my friends

I actually did make a prank call once. My parents were so angry that they took my cellphone away for two weeks.

I'm 30 with a smart phone paying for my own plan. My parents know I use it to browse the internet, play games, and make phone calls. I doubt they think anything more than that.

My parents think I am always chatting with friends on phone. When in reality I am playing games, making posts, downloading songs or just surfing the web along with chatting.

My parents know about my activity here and can tell that I'm either posting here, in Messenger, playing GO or just casually browsing the net if bored.

When I was a teenager my Mom for some reason always though I was looking at explicit things when in reality I was just reading fanfiction. Now she thinks all I do on my phone is listen to music. Which is partially true. If I don't have music going I'm mostly reading and sometimes playing phone games.
