What features from previous games do you think will be enhanced?

More specifically, "previous games" equals HGSS. But you can use any previous game.

..
If you compare DPP to HGSS you'll see that some things were enhanced. Sort of like they were just testing the elements before.

Here are some examples..

Different clothing. In DPP the only time you changed clothing was for Super Contests and they were a tuxedo or dress (with a giant ribbon). You can't move or anything.
In HGSS you get an entire scene where you're wearing different clothing. I don't know first hand, but I believe you also move around in it. And of course you get to change clothing for the Pokethelon.

Super Contests were somewhat more interactive then battling. You made your Pokemon dance and you "dressed" them up. Poffin making was pretty interactive. Pokethelon's are basically minigames.

In DPP's beta they apparently were going to add 3D camera angels. This was implimented in HGSS and appears to be even further changed in BW.

In DPP you gained the ability to walk around with your Pokemon in a set area (Amity Park) and interact with them. In HGSS you can walk with them basically everywhere.

Even RSE to DPP had a few. Pokeblock making was interactive and differed from the usual standard RPG feel of Pokemon. Poffin making is a more interactive version of Pokeblock making.

It says something about the atmosphere of this forum that every new thread starts with an excuse for its existence.

Unless a topic is a duplicate there's no need for an excuse. The only topics I have seen that are similar to this are very specific...

Wait. I don't think I've seen a topic like this. *edits post*

Anyway, back onto topic.

Well, you forgot how in R/S/E we could attract wild Pokes in the Safari Zone with PokeBlocks, then in Trees in D/P/Pt with Honey, and then again in HG/SS's Safari Zone with different items.

Maybe this will be enhanced to make it possible to attract rare Pokes in caves, routes, trees and everywhere with different items and stuff. :p

I guess that counts as an enhancement. Randomly throwing food in Gen 1 - 3 and headbutting trees in Gen 2, to a complex honey system.

Maybe they'll implement multiple regions again.

I feel as though multiple regions would have been one of the first spoilers about the game to be released; it would generate long-term enthusiasm and free advertising through comparisons to HG/SS...

This will most likely be the month when the advertising of game features starts happening hardcore. the July issue of 2006 in June was the first for fourth gen to really get into it, talking about gender differences, and a lot of new attacks and such. This time around since we hadn't been getting new pokemon for the past 2 years it looks like the in depth revealing of stuff is going to start just a bit earlier.

When is there a scene in HG/SS where you where a different outfit other than Pokelathon?

Wasn't Johto in GS a secret?

^

You forgot the infamous "Silver stripping you" scene? It's in the Goldenrod Tower. You dress as a grunt, remember?

Hopefully Diving and Cutting the grass will be back from RSE. Also, the Secret Bases. And Pokeblok (or other treat) for bait. Makes it easy to get good Pokemon using the really badly made ones.

Day and Night need to be in. Also, more characters should acknowledge your birthday. It's fun. :3

There should be a way to unlock a plot specific clothing item (like the Rocket Uniform) later in the game, after some sidequest.

More event specific clothing would be nice..But I think they were testing for something different. Maybe the option to change your clothing?

I want my top hat, monocle, and cane so I can attend the fancy dinner party event.

I want to wear a dark (no bright red or pink) tuxedo as a girl. No pink dresses with giant ribbons.

I want a top hat, monocle, and cane just so I can be as classy as HG/SS Blaine. NPCs would have no choice to comment on my classiness. Even Gentlemen would be impressed.

lol, but seriously customization would be pretty fun. It was cool in Battle Revolution and it would be awesome for it to be fleshed out more and put into the main series. Or maybe just some different clothing would be nice.

Yeah, I agree. I want to dress my character up in a bunch of different outfits. And, as for contests (if they make a comeback), they should include battling (you can control the attacks to earn points, etc.).
