Getting a copy of FRLG for the first time, it was all odd as i had played too much gen 4, but then i got used to start and select instead of X and Y

Crystal, I kept playing my cousin's blue and silver (last one was in german somehow) and then I got my own pokemon gameboy color with pokemon crystal ;)

Awesome, hope the battery works. :) I was SO excited to get the remake of leaf green! I had grown up with Red, after all!

Yup, I bought one with a working battery. It works just fine.

Gold. I couldn't wait to finally use the "rainbow god turkey that Ash saw in the first episode" in battle.

Crystal, the first and that I most have played. I still have it and play occasionally.
Despite I having Gen I and Gen III games, I think crystal is the best.
 
Silver. I was completely addicted to GenI, (I'm not even kidding here. If they had Pokemon rehab, I would have been sent there.) but I couldn't get Silver when it first came out because I was in trouble at school or some such garbage. My cousin had Gold, so playing that would sometimes sate my hunger, but when I finally got my own copy of Silver...To say I was happy would be a huge, huge understatement.
 
Before Red and Blue came out I was a Pokemon WHORE. I had about 6 sets of 150 stickers(No Mew)and had my parents preorder both games for me. I wore pregame Pokemon shirts and bought every Nintendo Power that had any Pokemon ads or articles. Yeah, Red and Blue were my squeezes until Gold.
 
I guess it's Sapphire. I remember that me and my little brother got Sapphire and Ruby as Christmas gifts. We were so excited, we were even allowed to test the games a bit before the Xmas (with my brother's then-new Game Boy Advance). I bought myself an SP a little time after that. :p
 
LeafGreen definitely. When I got it I screamed and jumped up and down! I think that LeafGreen was probably my best friend back in sixth grade. :P
 
I was like extremely excited when I got Platinum. It was my first real game ever (the other being ROMs). It still is my only real game. XD

I was like hugging it so much XD And then I carefully looked at all the stuff...
Probably one of the best moments in my life...
