What gym battles in the Anime are most like the game?

Definitely Ash vs Tate and Lisa. The Thunder Armor helped me win against them in the games.

Probably Brock's. I really enjoyed setting off the sprinklers to have an easier time against Geodude and Onix.

Agreed. I also liked how the sprinklers gave the gym at least some realism (minus the fact that an electric mouse and a giant rock snake were fighting).

And let's see... I thought pretty much all the Sinnoh gyms had done very well to be based on the games, except for a few twists here and there.
