Okay so on the 7th Feb edition of Pokemon Sunday, we were told we would find out more info on GenV on the 21st Feb edition of PSunday. I missed the episode unfortunately as I was away and didn't have a net connection, but surprised to not see any news from it on the forum or on Bulbanews. Can someone tell me what happened on this weekend's episode?

Nothing. (unless you count "Professor Red" eating some really disgusting something. ugh that was gross)

They reiterated what Corocoro announced and said some stuff on Ranger: Lotus of Light and demoed a multi-player mission. No Gen 5 info that we didn't already know.

It was pretty unremarkable as far as Gen. V goes - all it did was show off Zoroark and Zorua again. There was a little more information about Ranger 3, but nothing very significant.

Ranger: Lotus of Light

It's not "lotus" - the "kiseki" indicated by the kanji translates roughly to "tracks" or "traces" (I prefer the latter, but everyone else seems to be using the former), and is also a homonym for "miracle".

(And yeah, they were like, hazing Red, I don't even know what the hell that was supposed to be about. XP)

Thanks guys :) Oh well, that info from CoroCoro was leaked anyway so I can forgive Nintendo for saying this was the first official press release for that info.

whoops, typo'd Locus, which is what everyone's currently calling it it would seem. :P either way, ranger 3 info, most of which we knew already, right?

... lotus would sound pretty even if it's completely wrong translation wise though... xD

Locus? I haven't heard that one anywhere either. Hmm.

And it wasn't Nintendo or anyone else besides PS itself saying it was an important reveal, and I don't think even they themselves said it was a world-first. (Even without the leak, CoroCoro would have beaten them by a week.)

It's basically just the title used on bulbapedia. Every other site is using Tracks. Call it whatever you please.

That's...wow. One person throws in a questionable translation based on an esoteric mathematical definition, and the page gets changed, despite a lot of good points made by the opposition and the fact that absolutely every other page is using "Tracks". Remarkable. (You'd think they'd have gone with "Loci" at least - there's no indication of plurals, of course, but if they think it references the Stylers, plural seems to go without saying.)

To each their own, I guess.
