Simple. The trends have completely and totally abandoned her. I'm not saying it's right, I'm not saying it's fair, I'm not saying it's even a good sign. The collie has diveerted the sheep, simple as that. It happens to my kind of music all the time, a lot of my favorites get passing glances at best. I'm not saying you shouldn't like Spears anymore, I myself still play old Residents albums, and they're long since past their heydays. I'm just saying, she's no longer a hot topic for the rest of the world, much as nothing I have ever listened to since 2008 never has.
I'll stop here before I get misquoted and get things thrown at me.

Britney just finished The Circus Tour and is currently working on her new album which is set to release May 2010. She also has a new single out, "3."

She isn't in the news as much anymore because she has her life together now. No one really cares about her now that she isn't so crazy anymore. The only people who really still keep up on her are those who visit celebrity gossip blogs and her fans.
