What happened to the "New Messages in my Social Groups"?

That section in the index isn't showing up for me. And I checked to see if it was minimized, nope.
 
I don't think it's showing up for me, ether.
 
The fact I don't know what you're talking about proves I don't see it either.
 
i know! i look at that place every time i log in and now it isn't there! what's going on?!
 
I have the same issue. Looks like nobody has access to it.
I'd love to hear an explanation ASAP.
 
Yes, I agree, it was quite useful. Thought it was just me for a second.
 
I thought it was just me, and was gonnamake a thread about it soon. Mods/Admins, please tell us what happened to it. I found it very useful, now, I have to open 12 tabs to veiw my groups new messages. Maybe they removed it in the forum reconstruction though. If the did, I hopw we get it back soon.
 
Hmmm.. this may be of some use. vBulletin 4 is due to be released at any time, and certain forum features like that, commonly know as modifications, may not work with the new software. So this may just be a sign that we are getting ready for the new software, but thats just my view.
 
When you joined a social group with no messages, it gave an sql error. That is what i think happened.
 
AiedailEclipsed and Gligar13 are both right. The modification we use to do that was creating SQL errors with empty groups. They were acceptable during the year, but now that we're getting more and more people visiting in the leadup to the holiday season, and with the impending release of vB 4.0, it was felt prudent to remove it for now until a vB 4.0 compatible version (hopefully without the errors) is released.
