If something like this exists then I apoligise in advance.

So fans, what do you feel is the most sad/upsetting thing in Pokemon? Can be from any part of the franchise.

Mine is the scene from PMD2 after the defeat of Primal Dialga where you start to fade from existence. The music, your Partner's reaction and words...actually made me cry xD

When Steven Stone died in Wallace's arms in the PokeSpe manga.

Yup.

Or really, when Steven, Norman AND Courtney kicked the bucket – I kinda wish it had stayed like that in the end.

I dont normally cry in games but this part of the game really got to me.. and i cried too. Im not ashamed because it was pretty depressing.

MD2 was seriously depressing at points.

A few sad moments of the anime too: Pikachu's Goodbye (made me tear up as a little kid although now that I'm older I think that episode sucks), Charizard's departure, Latios's death, Togetic's departure to become guardian of another dimension (wtf!?), Paul's mistreatment of Chimchar...

Both PMD endings (Time/Darkness made me bawl my damn eyes out), every movie except for Deoxys, Mewtwo's Origin, and more episodes then you could believe including the more obvious "Pikachu's Goodbye" and "Bye Bye Butterfree", and less then obvious episodes like the Tag Battle arc and "Pika and Goliath".

..I cry easily.

I cried a little in the end of the Darkria movie where they all thought he was dead. And I bawled like a baby when I saw Pokemon the First Movie in the theaters. Especially the near to end where the originals and clones are fighting (almost to the death) and the 'brother my brother' music starts playing....*sniff*

I also got a little teary eyed with Pokemon Special manga, not just because it's sad in some areas, but because it's so frustrating that they haven't updated in a long time! I want to know what happens! Lt. Surge is awesome in the manga.

When I was little, the episode where Ash got Charmander always made me tear up a little. It moved me that as badly as Damien treated it, Charmander was so dedicated to its trainer that it almost died waiting for him to come back. I always felt so bad for Charmander.

Meh i almost cried at the end of Mewtwo's origin cause that 1 girl forgot about him and he was so alone and thats the reason he hates humans... *sniff* so sad...

I actually think that the pokemon mystery dungeon 1 ending is more sad then the mystery dungeon2 ending. I cried at the first ending, but I didn't drop a tear at the second one.

I cried at the end of The First Movie: Mewtwo Strikes Back when the clones were fighting all the way though until the Pokemon cried because Satoshi had died.

I also wanted to cry in Pokemon Heroes when poor Ratiosu died, but the ending made me perk up. I haven't really cried over much though.

The fact that we have yet to get any word on the 5th gen, or even GS DS. WTF!?

Paul's bastardly treatment towards Chimchar. I'm 17 now and I still thought that sucked. Total unrighteous jackass. The part that hit hardest was when they showed the flashback of Paul denying the privellage to eat properly. Telling him to hurry up and everything when he's simply trying to eat - and what more is that he then felt like he couldn't do so properly with Ash.

=/ No one should be denied their privilege to eat. No one.

Even though I've adored Jirarudan since the second movie came out in English, only recently have I gotten to the point where I just plain can't watch his last scene, where he's standing on the shore in the wreck looking out over the ocean. Not only is everything he ever built gone, his world in its entirity shattered and laying in pieces in the ocean, but the artworks he collected, the treasures of the world, were completely destroyed. That's not just *his* loss.
And, of course, he has no one to blame but his own fool self. Although given how extremely delusional he was, it's doubtful he'd even realize it *was* his fault.

Speaking of the second movie, the CoroCoro manga failed on so many massive levels, and I'm convinced that NotJiri is to blame for Jirarudan having such a small fanbase in Japan (If you don't know of what I speak, it's for the best. He acts like a cross between Captain Phantom and Baron Alberto--not a very good mix).

Something that just plain DISTURBED me was this scene. Ho. Lee. Crap. I turned the page and SHUDDERED. Seriously, that stuff's SCARY.

Have I revealed myself to be as much of an obsessive wuss as I think I have?

The anime. I hate it so much. It gives a deep and complex game like Pokemon a really kiddy image, which it has never been able to shake off, (or to be honest ever really tried to). Ironically though, it was actually the anime that first got me into Pokemon back when I was about 7, so if it wasn't for it I, (and I'm sure quite a few other people) wouldn't be on this forum now, so I suppose it is good for somethings.
