What have you always wanted to be?

I've always wanted to be a Cyborg, as machines do everything we can't, and do them perfectly. And i'm a major perfectionist! :mad:
 
I always wanted to be the guy that writes the stories for video games. As I got older I got more realistic, but it might happen.
 
When I was seven I decided I wanted to be a math teacher. I still want to be one.
 
Wanted to be a zoologist until I realized I'd have to perform surgery. My extreme discomfort around internal organs and blood (and needles, and basically everything surgery-related) led to me giving that up. That and having three pets die in the same year.

Then I decided to try doing something museum-related. Until I realized I can't stand...basically everything related to the upkeep of a museum.

I've always wanted to be a writer, but my horrible mental block prevents THAT from happening. So...I'm left trying to figure out what it is I want to do. Data entry interests me, though. Seems like what I was made to do.
 
For the longest time I wanted to be a lawyer, but over time that aspiration has evolved into a desire to be a judge. Presiding over small claims cases isn't exactly glamorous, but it'd fit me.
 
When I was five or six, I wanted to be a ballerina. After I realized I sucked at ballet, I decided I wanted to be a nurse or a teacher.

But, my real dream is to become a writer.
 
I want to be an Artist or an Advanced Art teacher. :eek:

I always wanted to be a writer, but I've been told I'd make a good teacher, politican, lawyer, and scientist, among other things. I'd never want to be a scientist, there's too much math involved, and I hate math. Teacher, politican, and lawyer are o.k. though. I'm holding those as back-up careers.
 
Always had an interest in writing, but I suck, suck, suck, suck, suck, suck, suck at it. I don't really have any realistic future goals and careers in mind. If we're going to be silly, I'd love to be a superhero with a secret identity... or a Pokémon trainer. XD
 
Well, I used to want to be a veterinarian. But, like Kthleen, I realized what was involved and just couldn't do it. I also realized that I would never be able to euthanize animals that didn't deserve it, and I wouldn't be able to take home every case and give them a happy life, so I would probably be depressed for a large amount of the time.

I still want to help animals, I think that it's the reason I've been put on this earth, but in now more in a way like working at the Humane Society and hopefully opening my own rescue one day. Unfortunately, there's not a lot of money in this...so I'm currently working on a bachelors of science in psychology and hopefully one day make enough money at my regular job to fulfill my animal-helping desires on the side.
 
Ever since I frist saw Jurassic Park in first grade I've wanted to be a paleontologist. I'm going into biological sciences or anthropology, so that's good enough!
 
I still want to be a technical or science writer (a la Dana Sobel or Erik Larson). I'm currently a medical transcriptionist specializing in dermatopathology and immunodermatopathology, so that's a start.
 
I've always wanted to be a chef..and now I am one!
 
I've always wanted to be an actress. I've become a lot less interested in acting recently though, and it doesn't appeal to me in the same way that it used to. I would love to be an author.
 
lol, I went through a lot of silly things as a little kid. The earliest I remember, I wanted to be like Spider-man, but with real web powers, then I found out about Nightcrawler and wanted to be like Nightcrawler, but then I found out about Dragonball and wanted to be like the Dragonball people. It's all little silly make believe stuff. I think I wanted to be a power ranger at some point also.

For things that I wanted to do seriously, I wanted to be an Animator for some period of time and then I wanted to get into being a Naturalist.
