What if special episodes

I was wondering the creators the anime series do a few what if scenario episodes based in the first season of the anime. These what if episodes are points of divergence from critical moments in Ash's early adventure. Here is a few examples
What if Ash had woke up on time and got to Oaks lab before Gary?
What if Ash had successfully captured the Spearow after setting off?
What if Jessie and James defeated Caterpie in Viridian Forrest?
What if Charizard did attack Zippo in the Indigo Conference

What if Ash didn't see the pokemon league ad?
What if Tyson met Ash in the indigo league?
What if Gary's ego was not shattered?

I meant actual events and not alternate characterization. Ash did not need to see a pokemon league add almost all 10 year old kids in generation 1 wanted to compete in the league. Paul would of started his adventure in Sinnoh at the same time Ash was starting in Kanto. Events that would of been different and would of been a major impact. For instant had Ash actually woke on time it is likely that Ash would of gotten a Squirtle from Professor Oak, met the female trainer who got the Bulbasaur (In my opinion Richie was the trainer who got Charmander as his parents pied extra so their son could get a pokemon from Oak himself). That means that Gary would of gotten Pikachu (it is likely that Professor Oak originally intended to give Gary Pikachu as he felt that Gary would of been able to control Pikachu. Giving Pikachu to Ash in the canon series was a special case, it could likely that Oak would of refused to give Ash a pokemon as Oak felt that Ash was too irresponsible).

If Ash had caught Spearow then Ash and Pikachu would not been attacked by Spearow's flock and Ash and Pikachu friendship would of take far longer to spark. Also it would been likely that Ash would never of met Misty before the Cerulean Gym. Also Ash would not of met Jessie and James, meaning that Jessie and Jame's criminal career would of succeeded.(Also Professor Oak would win the bet with his grandson Gary "Mtherfking" Oak. Ok that wasn't imporant story wise but it was comedic)

If Jessie and James defeated Ash's Caterpie in Viridian Forest, Misty would of tried to intervene by sending out one of her water-pokemon that was capable of fighting on land (Staryu) but gets defeated when James used his Weepinbell (I don't know where or James got his Weepinbell as James said that he found it has evolved into a Victreebel when sneaking into the Breeding Center, so I assume James had Weepinbell the whole time but never mentioned it or used it before the Breeding Center Episode). James then had Weepinbell to use sleeping powder to put Ash and Misty to sleep. Then Jessie and James then kidnapped Ash and Misty and had them recruited into Team Rocket.

DUDE! besides the last one it is alternate character development not alternate characterization! And it is events or lack there of cause that alternate character development!
