What if there was a Smash Bros. game for the Nintendo DS?

They made a 4th SSB for the DS?

If they did, I'd get it, since the DS has absolutely NO fighting games that I recall, and it desperately needs one.

If they made one, what would you like for new items, stages, playable characters, Final Smashes, etc.

For new characters, I'd like to see
from Nintendo
King K. Rool
Darkrai
Ridley
Magikoopa Kamek
Peppy Hare
Skull Kid

and from the third-parties
Megaman
Agumon
Tails
Liquid Snake

and for characters that were in Melee that weren't in Brawl
Mewtwo
Roy

There actually *is* a fighting game for the DS featuring Shonen Jump (Bleach, Naruto, Death Note, ect) characters.

But still, a SSB game for the DS would be cool. I agree w/ everyone on your list, though you'd have to add Midna, Shadow the Hedgehog (3rd party), and Lloyd (Third party, from Tales of Symphonia).

There are actual several fighting games for the DS, but they're all pretty much anime-based fighters (Naruto, One Piece, the two Jump games) that are only available in Japan right now.

The Jump games are pretty Smash Bros-like themselves, so those would be your best alternative. The second game, from what I hear, is more foreigner-friendly than the first one (you don't have to wade through pages and pages of text to create new panels, I hear), so that would be the one you'd want to import.

The Jump games hold like 40+ playable characters, so a small roster wouldn't be a worry. Of course, Jump uses sprites which I hear won't lend well to Smash's physics.

I think a DS remake of the original Smash (with 5 or so new characters. Maybe Lyn, Stafy, Issac, Jill, and Barbara-all AT's who made their debut on handhelds) would be nice, as well as cleaned up graphichs, a few new stages, Wi-Fi, collectable trophies of some sort, and other stuff.

No.

Oh, and don't forget Guilty Gear: Dust Strikers. AHAHAHAHA GET IT?

Anyway, the finely tuned gameplay of SSB games doesn't suit the DS Lite very well. The buttons on the DS Lite are way too small and difficult to maneuver. Especially the D-pad.

I agree, a game like smash would be near impossible for me to play on the ds >.>

But if anyone is looking for a good fighting game for the ds, as mentioned before, Bleach: The Blade of Fate was actually quite good. Though I haven't played any others fighters on the ds, so I have nothing to compare it to.
