What if they made a Nintendog-like pokemon game

No matter how many pkmn games I play, I eventualy grow tired and start to dream. Then, it hit me. why not make a game that you can play on the wii or dsi where you raise a pokemon for their trainers. The pokemon you take care of are all small ones like pikachu(of course) and pachirisu. you train them to evolution, which takes a few days, and even after your done, they come and visit you. its not a completed idea, but its a good one. wut do u think? and please add on to the idea.
 
I like the evolution idea. As long as you can do more with it than Nintendogs, I might like it.

I got Nintendogs because I love dogs, but grew bored with it very quickly. (I thought it was a cute idea, but my real dog is more fun.)

I think a pokemon pet sim would be really cool.

Personally I'd rather raise my own pokemon. It'd be cool if there was some sort of communication feature between the sim and the main series games.
 
Dunno it would be fine and all but how would you interact with it? Take it out to play? Train it? Battle with it? Dunno it just seems like a low key pokemon game sans the travelling and leveling up. In other words sounds good but would fail miserably.
 
well,I asked you to complete the idea. so interaction is something to discuss. and I watched a lets play of "Hey You Pikachu" and all you really do is just scream into the mike. and pokemon channel was about TV and you couldn't do much on it. this one would let you travel I guess between a couple of towns and battle a couple of trainers or something. I don't know! I need some help here!:bawling:
 
Dude, I have and play Pokemon Channel, it isn't just about the TV, the centralized concept is the TV but you get to go out and interact with other Pokemon, go to other places, and such!
 
Pokemon Channel revolved around a quest that involved watching TV, interacting with other Pokemon, and such. For a full description look under the 'pedia article!

No, Pokemon Ranch is basially Pokemonbox D/P minus the special move Pokemon and the addition of a little interaction. I think they should have just stuck to a Pokemonbox D/P, I find navigating through Ranch tedious.
 
An updated Hey You Pikachu game like this sounds like a neat idea!
 
I'm more of a trainer than a breeder but what the heck let's mail ideas to the Pokemon Company

Well what they COULD do is like the opposite of the main series games. Since you can kind of/sort of breed on the side in the main series, you could always collect gym badges and such as a secondary act in the games. I mean, as a breeder, you'd still have to catch the Pokemon and all, and perhaps travel as Brock does.

They don't have to make it some sit home and ranch game.
